I come in the new building of my school and I'm nervous. The lockers are a disgusting green and the floor tiles are all chipped. I tried to go to my homeroom, but the building was so big and confusing. I asked people were Mrs. Smith's room was. No one would even look at me, but I did see them roll their eyes. I already want to leave on the first day but then out the corner of my eye I see the most beautiful human being you've seen ever. He has amazing and wildly out of place curly hair and the cutest dimples you've ever seen when he smiles. Then I saw a teacher.
Thank god!
"Hi! I was wondering were Mrs.Smith's room is? I'm new here."
"Oh! Yes dear I'm subbing for Mrs.Smith, so I'll take you there myself."
We walked in 5 minutes late and it was so embarrassing I took the first open seat nearest the back. She handed me my schedule. I'm the new kid even though everyone else is only one week into school.
"Hello everyone my name, for the ones that don't know me, is Mrs.Tombom I'll be your substitute for the day. So we can all get to know each other let's play a name game!" She said, "I'll go first. Hi my name is Mrs.Tombom, I'm the the sub for the day. I love reading and writing and cooking. Who would like to go next?"
The boy with the amazing hair raised his hand, he plays the violin, plays sports, and is in drama. His name is Giovanni. Wow, his hair is perfect, his eyes are a beautiful, rich chocolate brown unlike mine which are a pale red.
I'm up.
"Hello I'm Sam, I'm new here from New Zealand and, as you can see, I'm albino," I say, "Mrs.Tombom?"
"Yes dear?" she replies.
"Can I get my sun glasses? The fluorescents are hurting them," I ask.
"Oh, of course! Go right ahead," she said with a wrinkly smile.
Once I get back from my locker, I see Glenda who has kind of curly hair. She's in drama and all the guys and one girl stare at her. I don't like girls like how she seems, because they usually make fun of me. I decide to look at Giovani some more, he's so pretty. I found the rest of my classes pretty well.
