For @RaptorCat1960 sorry it's so late.

It had been a quiet day in the library. You'd spent the whole day there looking in every section for books on piano playing and music theory. Music never failed to amaze you.

The elevator door opened with a ding, and you stepped in quietly, trying hard not to drop your huge stack of music books. You pressed the button for the lobby, the door slid closed and you waited.

The elevator made a stop on the second floor. A handsome guy who seemed about your age stepped in. His arms where full of poetry books. He smiled at you, and could not take his eyes off you. The the elevator started moving again, but then stopped abruptly. The red emergency light came on, and you started to panic

The elevator was stuck.

Your eyes grew wide and your face went pale with fear. You looked over at the boy who you were in the elevator with. He had the same worried expression. What if the elevator suddenly fell? What if nobody came to help you? How long would you be in here? Your mind raced with anxious thoughts, until the boy spoke.

"Hi. My names Jim." He extended a hand. You were confused for a split second of how one could be so calm, but you took his hand. "Hi, I'm uh (y/n) you said awkwardly. "Figured I might as well introduce myself, because it looks like we're gonna be stuck here for a while." "Yeah" you responded shakily.

"What's that?" He asked, pulling out one of your music books. "Oh, I'm trying to learn piano. I've always loved music." A beaming smile grew on Jim's face. "That's awesome. I love music too. And poetry." "I can see that." You said glancing at at least a dozen poetry books he held.

You both kept on talking about music, poetry, and art. A few minutes later, you found yourselves sitting on the floor of the elevator, reading, talking, and laughing, like old friends. Jim was extremely kind and philosophical.

"Your a really pretty girl (y/n)" he said. "Oh uh, thanks." You said, a bit shocked. "I love your personality too. It's hard to find a girl who is this laid back and fun to be with." You felt yourself start to blush. "Thanks Jim. Your a very nice person too. Your very smart, and I like your deep thinking." He just smiled in return.

Then he kissed you.

A few seconds later the elevator began to move again and you both were okay. Jim Morrison taught you how to play piano, and you both wrote poetry together. Maybe getting stuck in an elevator isn't such a bad thing after all.
