~Ariel's POV
Happiness filled my heart as I pranced through the large field, jumping up and about. My white fur whipped around with the strong wind, but I didn't care. I liked it.
I continued to entertain myself in the mess of long grass and flowers, yipping happily. Unfortunately, my joyful leaps were stopped immediately the second I heard the snap of a twig to my left, cutting through the sound.
My furry body went rigid, carefully listening for more sounds or things I probably didn't want to hear but needed to anyways.
A soft whine caught my attention, and I slowly turned my body in direction of the sound.
A very large black wolf stood tall at the tree line, watching intently.
It's gentle footsteps towards me echoed through the silence, and I knew somehow I'd be fine. He'd be nice.
I think I surprised the two of us when my body started--
"Baby, wake up." What?
"Sweetheart, you need to wake up now, please. You're starting to worry me." The voice was deep and rough, very masculine. It was like velvet against sandpaper.
I took a moment to feel my surroundings, but keeping perfectly still. I felt something underneath me, and pressed against my side. I felt a large, warm hand on my upper back to hold me up, along with another hand clutching desperately to my hip, holding me close.
The source of the voice nuzzled it's face into my neck, giving it a soft kiss. My eyes snapped open and I jerked, surprised with the warmth running through my body alongside the tingles.
"Thank God," The man muttered, tightening his grip. A small yelp jumped out of my mouth when I felt claws digging painfully into my hip, tearing the skin.
"Oh, shit, I'm sorry, baby," He swore, quickly darting his gaze to my sides and loosening his hold. It was then I leapt up and away from him, my eyes wide.
"Where am I?" I whispered, trying not to make it obvious that I was shaking like a leaf.
Sighing, the man stood, carefully making his way towards me. "You're at your home." He said firmly, but gently.
I stopped. Everything stopped. What was he talking about? This wasn't my home. My home was in the woods, with my plants and photos strewn everywhere.
"This isn't my home," I mumbled, shaking my head frantically as panic fought to take over my body like it had on many other occasions.
I felt my face flush as my breathing shallowed, my eyes whipping around to find a quick and easy exit.
As if he'd read my mind, he ran forward, grabbing my arms, opening his mouth to speak. "No!" I cried, tears welling up behind my eyelids. "D-Don't touch me!"
Ripping away from his hold, I sprinted for the door, about to reach it, my hand about to close around the knob-
WHAM!
Gasping, I tumbled to the ground from the impact, trying to catch my breath as I stared up at the large man who'd thrown open the door.
My head throbbed, and I frowned. What just happened? All thoughts started to drift away from my grasp, not being able to stop them.
~Axel's POV
"What the hell Erik!" I shouted, hastily picking Ariel up off the floor and holding her close. "You can't just barge into my damn room whenever you want!" I snapped, eyeing him coolly.
"But Alpha, I heard yelling, and-"
"No!" I yelled, flicking my head towards the door. "Look at what you've done to your Luna," I snarled, watching his face pale considerably. "Get out."
