Chapter 9

(Carl's POV)

I rushed outside an I saw the most horrific thing ever. Ohara was falling from the watchtower balcony and Beth was still at the top laughing and cheering. I ran as fast as i could to try and stop Ohara from hitting the ground but I was too late she hit the ground while I was still running to her. "OHARA!!!" I yelled to her hoping she would wake up. I finally got to her and she was losing a lot of blood from her head and she was unconscious. "HERSHEL!!!" I yelled while picking Ohara up and running back into the prison and Beth close behind me. "where do you think you're going? she's pretty much dead, just leave her here so she can die truly" Beth says so calmly which really pisses me off. "Fuck off Beth!" I yell at her and continue running into the prison. "HERSHELL!!!" I keep yelling and he finally comes out , well everyone comes out. "Carl what's wro-" My mom says but stops as she sees Ohara in my arms bleeding to death. My mom and Carol have their hands over their mouths.

(No one's POV)

Lori goes over to GLenn and Maggie who haven't seen Ohara yet. "Glenn please do not go out there." Lori says to him while blocking the way into the oen table area. "Why what's going on?" He asks unaware of what has happened. Lori just gives him a very sincere look and it hits him. "She's not dead is she?" He asks tears at the brim of his eyes. "we're not sure" lori says while covering back her mouth. "I- I gotta see her" Glenn says while tying to go into the room but Rick helps block the door. "you shouldn't look Glenn" Rick says while trying to calm him down.

"No I have to see her!" He yells while pushing them out of the way. He goes into the big room and he see Ohara on the table unconscious and covered in blood. "Oh god" Glenn says while crying and turning around pulling his hair and then he falls to his knees. Maggie goes next to Glenn and comforts him. "She'll be okay if she made it the first time she'll make it this time." She says while rubbing his back. "We'll need to give her stitches and wrap her up but first what happened to her?" Hershel asks while standing up with his crutches.

"Your daughter did it! Beth pushed he off the watchtower after trying to kill her!" Carl yells while pointing at Beth. Everyone gasps and looks at Beth. "Is that true?" Hershel says with a sad look on his face. Beth looks at everyone with a worried look "alright fine! Yes! I did it! But for a good reason! She kept butting in to me and Carl's time so I had to kick her out! Plus she's unwanted here right!?" Beth says while having a crazy look in her eye. "Beth no one here is unwanted." Carol says. "What about you Rick!? You didn't want her here right?!" Beth says moving over to Rick. "I would never kill an innocent child." He says giving Beth and mad glare.

"YOU PUSHED MY DAUGHTER OFF OF A BALCONY!" Glenn yells furiously at Beth. Beth doesn't answer she just gives him a nasty look. "Beth apologize!" Maggie says to her. "I ain't apologizing for nothin" she says as she is about to walk away, but she gets shot in the head. As she fell Hershel was behind her holding a gun. "Sorry sweetie, but it was your time to leave" Hershel says as he puts the gun down on the table and Maggie begins to wrap her up and put her in one of the graves out front.

(10 days later)

Ohara is laying in one of the cell beds ever since she was pushed off the balcony and has t woken up yet. Carl hasn't left her side well except to use the restroom but other than that he is still right next to her. Glenn walks into the room and sits next to Carl "Y'know Carl it's been a really long time and she still hasn't woken up so we might need to-" Glenn begins but Carl stand up really quickly Interrupting him "what are you talking about!? It hasn't been that long! She's your daughter you cant just give up on her like that and kill her instead of waiting a little bit!" Carl yells at glenn.

"I know Carl but its just too much pressure and she could turn any moment" Glenn says while standing up as well. "I won't let you kill her! You guys don't have to watch her but I will!" Carl yells pleadingly. "Carl is there a problem?" Rick says as he walks in. "Yea! Glenn wants to kill her off and-" Carl starts but Rick cuts him off by going to his eye level and looks at him straight in the eyes "Carl that was my idea" he says. "What!?" Carl yells. "Listen I know you guys were good friends but its been 10 days son she's gotta go, here how about you do it" Rick says as he hands Carl his gun. Carl slowly grabs it and sits down next to Ohara. "Take all the time you need" Rick says as he and Glenn walk out of the room and Glenn has tears flowing already down his face.

Carl sits with the gun in his hand while looking at Ohara. He slowly puts the gun to her head but couldn't pull the trigger. He lays the gun down and he puts his face and arms on her torso and cries. "Lets just get it over with." He mutters and grabs the gun then points it to her head but looks away. He is about to pull the trigger but someone grabs his wrist.
