SUMMARY:
"That kid's a legend, I tell ya'."
"They say anyone who had a chance to see her received miracles. Good gracious."
She was named Scarlet for her crimson cloak, was named so after leaving trails of pink bread behind, feeding off the people's curiosity and leaving them hungry for more. A girl of wonder, people had yet to know the reason why she'd gone to the woods late that eventful night, when the baker had seen her stuffing bread into her basket, when the tailor had almost caught her for stealing their one piece of clothing.
They didn't know her, but they knew one thing: Scarlet was a hero. Hailed so after everyone heard the first child mumbling with shocked eyes, "I saw scarlet. A girl in scarlet robes . . . She saved me; Scarlet."
Of course the adults would not understand, so instead they'd probed the child for more information that exact day. "Scarlet?" one asked. "Well then - Then what did she do?"
"She did . . . Save me," the little boy whispered, then he said with a much lower voice, "And then she was gone."
REASON:
When you said build up a mysterious feeling for the cover, an idea popped into my head and bam! The idea revolved more on the plot/summary, though, but I still think I had the 'mystery' thing covered on my work. Anyways, I hope you like it! :D
