Say Hi

Why am I so nervous today?
Why do I feel like saying hi to the person you like is the hardest thing to do?

Today, I've decided that I'm going to say hi to Sean.
Just hi.
It's not that hard, right?

Ugh, I think I can't do it....

"What are you thinking?"

"Oh, Stacey. It's nothing"

"You're standing here in the middle of the hallway, not minding other people, even me, who keeps on calling you, then you're answer is nothing" she rolled her eyes

I know, I know she's a brat sometimes but she is like a mother to me, who scolds me for every mistakes I've done. She's the best.

We started walking towards our classroom

"What now?" she asked

"I've decided" I said

"Oh, really? What are you going to do?"

"Say hi"

"That's all?" she asked with dissapointed face

"I'll take it easy. It should be step by step"

"Fine.Just do it properly this time."

"Yes ma'am"

Okay, this is the moment of truth.He's there sitting on a bench alone, while I'm hiding behind this tree.Can I really do it?

"Go for it" Stacey pushed me out of the tree.

"Stacey!" I said quietly

She made an "I'm watching you" gesture.

I sighed and walk towards Sean. I'm almost near him when he suddenly notice me and smile. This is it.

"ah..h..hi" God, I'm too obvious

"Hey" he said

Awkward silence.....

"So" we both said and giggled

"You go first" he said

"No, you go first" I respond

" Okay. So, what brings you here?" he asked

"Uhmm...Yo-you look lonely" I don't know what to say, ahhh

He chuckles " I'm not lonely, I'm with someone you can't see"

"Wh-what?!" I hate ghosts

"Pfft, hahhahahaha I'm sorry, I'm just kidding. hahahaha" he's laughing so hard, but still, he looks cute

" What's so funny?" I asked curiously

" Your reaction is so funny, even on the first time we've met"

I feel insulted right now

"Oh, sorry.I didn't mean to offend you" he seriously said

"It's okay" if it's you, I'm fine with it

"I have to go, I've got something to do.Anyway,thanks for your concern.bye"

"Okay. bye" I said shyly

He was about to go but he stopped and looked at me

"It's Amanda"

"Oh, I'm Sean by the way"

We shaked hands and then he left.

"He remembered me! I'm so proud of myself!"

"That's all you've got to say? You look lonely(copying me).." she mumbled but I heard it

"Whatever.I'm still happy"

She sighed and grabbed me.

Breaktime has ended but I haven't eaten yet, because my mind is full of Sean.

**After school**

I am outside the school, looking for him.I just wanted to see him before going home.

Luckily I saw him.He's with his friends. Admiring him while walking......He looks at my direction and winked then, he looked away.

What?! Did he just wink at me?

Oh my gosh, I really love him!

I'm so excited for tomorrow.....
