"Baby! You're going to be late!" mom shouted downstairs

I don't want to go to school..I don't want to see him. I cried my eyes out last night. It's swollen

*Knock**knock*

"What's wrong?" mom asked

"I'm not feeling well mom" I answered

"O-okay, I'll talk to your adviser.If you need anything, just ask me"

"I'm sorry mom" my tears starded to fall again

"It's okay baby, just get some rest"

I think she already left..
I can't face everyone right now, specially him.

I feel rejected.It hurts a lot
I stared at my window, looking like I had a trauma.

Everything in my mind went black like I don't know what to think anymore.

I suddenly fell asleep....

*knock*knock*

"Amanda?"

Who's that? Mom? Am I still sleeping?

"Amanda!Are you awake?" it's mom

I'm finally awake. My mom is knocking at my door

"What is it, mom?" I asked her, still sleepy

"You have a visitor"

A visitor? Wait, what time is it? I look at the clock and it's 3 in the afternoon.Is it Stacey?

"Who is it, mom?"

"Your friend" mom answered

"Okay, wait a minute"

I sat up and stretched. I'm not in the mood right now but, It's Stacey so, I should see her..

I quickly change my clothes and brush my teeth.

I run down the stairs to see my friend....

"Hi" he stood up and smile

"Why are you here?" I glared at him

"Baby, don't be rude to your friend." mom said

"Excuse me ma'am but can I borrow your daughter? I really need to talk to her" Sean said gently

"Go ahead.If you need anything just call me, I'm upstairs" mom respond

"Mom don't, Please don't go" I pleadingly said

"Whatever you're arguing about.You should talk about it and make things up." She said and got upstairs

I watch my mom going upstairs,
then I heard him cleared his throath. Will my frustrated heart feel releived?

"I'm so sorry for being such a jerk"

I'm staring at him with a stern face.

"It's just too sudden...I can't seem to say anything...All I can think of is laugh" he explained

"Laugh? What kind of respond is that?"

"I don't even know why I laughed.I didn't mean to make fun of you"

"What?! So, you're telling me that you laugh for no reason?! Are you kidding me?!" I cried

He sighed "I'm sorry, please don't cry" he sincerely said

"I hate you! Get out!"

I turn around to go upstairs but he grab my arm and pull me to face him.

"Don't....don't say that" their is sadness in his eyes

I didn't respond because I don't know what to say.I'm in so much pain.

"You haven't heard my answer, right?" he asked

I looked down and covered my ears.He's going to reject me anyway.

"Look at me" he said

I shake my head

"I said look at me"

He remove my hands that is covering my ears and gently lift my head, holding my chin.

"Listen"

He is so gentle that I easily gave in and stopped being stubborn.
I look at his eyes.
