Brothers Best Friend

Chapter 7

Harleigh's P.O.V. 

When I heard Shawn say that Aaliyah was in the hospital my hart broke. Shes like my sister, other then Morgan but im kind of mad at her for dating Jacky and not tell me. But I'll get over it , I mean they are cute together. And they both really love each other.

I was driving Shawn's car. I would let him but I dont want something to happen since he his crying. Im trying not to I can feel his pain, I know it is really hurting him. I know one question he keeps asking why. Why her? Why did she have to get hurt? she never did anything. 

I pull up to the hospital and Jack parks next to me and we all get out going in side. We see Shawn's Mom.  We going up to her and she starts crying in to Shawn's chest. She whispered that she was in surgery. 

After she calmed down we all sat down. Shawn sat next to his mom and i sat next to him. On the other side of his Mom Jack and Morgan sat.

Shawn: " Mom, what happen?"

His Mom:" She was hit by a car when her and her friend where playing out side, a drunk driver hit both of them."

His mom started to cry again.

His mom:" Her friend didn't make it."

Then a couple came out of the elevator , it was Mr. and Mrs. Smith ( Aaliyah's friends parents). I use to baby sit for them. They came over to Shawn's  mom and started to talk to her. 

After a while the doctor came out saying it went well and we can see her but shes not a wake yet. We all headed up but Morgan and Jack stand a little be hind so it wasn't crowded in her room. All the way up to her room i held Shawn's arm. I was leaning on him in the elevator and he kissed my fore head. 

Morgan's P.O.V.

Me and Jack get on the next elevator. We were the only ones in there , but he still put both his arms around me pulling me in to him. His eyes were blood shot red like he wants to cry.

Me:" Hey you ok?"

Jack:" Yea, just this thought just came to my mind."

Me:" What was it?"

Jack:" Its nothing really important."

Me:" If its making you want to cry yes it is."

He looked away from me sighing.

Jack:" I was just thinking, What if it was Harleigh?"

I just saw his heart break just saying it. It really hurt him to think some thing so bad will ever happen to her.

Me:" Nothing bad will happen to her Jack, I mean she has you and Shawn looking after her I know that she will never get hurt." 

He nod kissing me. His grip on me got tighter as we stop and the doors open. We went to her room. When we went in there it was only Shawn and Harleigh. Harleigh was sitting in Shawn's lap and he had his arms around her and his head on her shoulder and his face hid in her neck. I felt Jack get mad looking at this. I could tell cause his grip on my hand kind of tighten. We sit in a char next to them. Me in Jacks lap. I turn to Harleigh who is facing me.

Me:" How is she?"

Harleigh:" Still a sleep the doctor said she should wake up soon"

Me:" And what about him?"

Harleigh:" A wreck."

Shawn:" You know I can hear you right?"

 Harleigh:" Well you are"

He pouts and hinds back in her neck. She laughs and kisses his cheek. He blushed when she did. Jack wrapped his arms around my waist and lays his fore head on my back, trying not to look at them. But he cant say any thing because he did go behind Harleighs back with me. 

After a while Shawn's Mom came in she said Aaliyah is in a coma. Then she said she'll stay with her and that we should all go get some sleep, but mostly Shawn should.

Harleigh said she would go with him to his house and I went with Jack and stayed at his place.
