Today was the day. It was the day Kokona would confess her love to senpai. Her heart skipped a beat as she was getting ready for school. Although she was having a terrible week, it would all be worth it when senpai would be so moved by her confession that he would have to fall in love with her.
She walked to school holding a letter in her hand. She wrote down her feelings for senpai in a letter so she would have backup if she would get too nervous.
Kokona walked over to the pink pedal trees that stood behind the school. Senpai was always around those beautiful trees.
She waited patiently until she finally saw senpai walking up to her.
"Oh, hi senpai! I've been waiting for you to get here..." She said blushing.
Senpai looked at her confused.
"Oh, why would you want to wait for me?" He questioned.
Kokona looked down at her feet. She held out the letter in front of senpai. He looked down at the letter.
"What's that?" He asked.
Kokona blushed. She looked up at senpai and put a light smile on her face.
"Oh that's just...well...senpai...for a while now I've been in love with you...I've been wanting to tell you for a while now..."
Senpai had a blank look on his face. Kokona was so netvous. She had no idea what he would say but she felt like she said the right thing. Senpai had to love her.
"I've heard about you Kokona," he started.
Kokona heart skipped a beat. Senpai heard about her! He knows she exist! He noticed her! Maybe just maybe he would fall in love with her.
"Oh yeah...what have you heard?" She asked being able to hardly wait for the answer.
"I heard that your engaged in compensating dating...why would I want to date a girl like you?"
Kokona's heart broke into a million pieces.
"W-what...senpai it was a mistake!" She cried desperately.
"So it's true then?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Well...yes...but I'm not like that!" Kokona's head raced with thoughts.
"Kokona, I can't be with a girl like you I'm sorry," Senpai walked away from her.
"Senpai! Wait!" She cried. He continued to walk away. That was it. Senpai rejected her love confession. Her eyes filled with tears as she walked into school for class.
