Chapter 8 - The team is together again

Timmy's PoV :
All I did was feel for Peter because first his best friend was injured then his best friend opposedly had died now he comes back to life like magic. I felt tears well up around my eyes but tried to keep them back so Peter will hopefully calm down.

After about 10 mins Peter calmed down but Eddie still had the same emotionless face. I bent down to pull Peter by the shoulder which was a struggle. "Come on Peter , your killing the poor lad". Peter just shook his head and kept clinging on even tighter. Eddie seemed to be getting annoyed by the sudden tight hug. His emotion changed at last but not to a emotion I wanted it to be. He had a annoyed face.

I pulled Peter again and this time Eddie helped by pushing Peter off. Peter stumbled backwards after I pulled him up. Peter turned and walked off. I glanced back at Eddie and saw that he was lying on his back on the floor with his arms cushioning his head. "Thx for that", Eddie sighed.

"Your welcome ", I replied with a smile. Eddie daggered his eyes at me which made a chill go down my spine. "I was being sarcastic, I trusted you with not telling the others , now Peter is gonna be a bugging me for a while now oh and when Alexis wakes il have to go through the whole ordeal again". "I'm sorry but Andrew knew I was lying he would of kicked off or something if I didn't tell him", I replied.

Eddie just had a pissed off look so I knew then I had to retreat especially as I don't want him to do what he did to the bad guys. I backed off and went round the corner to join the others. I glanced back to see if Eddie joined me but of course not.

Alexis was in peters arms while Andrew patched her up. "How she holding up", I asked. Andrew looked up at me,"well she is now , they seriously beat her up", Andrew replied with a hint of anger in his tone.

I tapped Peter on his shoulder but he didn't look up at me , Peter kept his head down. "I know your lost in thought about the sudden shock but we need you to focus , please Peter", I said while putting my hand on his shoulder. This time Peter looked up at me with puffy eyes from when he was crying earlier. Peter nodded and I felt relief flush my face as I gave a soft smile.

"I'm all done, I think we should start moving because we've been faaaarrr to long", Andrew stated while standing up. I nodded. "Who's gonna carry Alexis ", Peter asked. "I will", Andrew said while bending down and showing Peter his back, Peter placed Alexis onto Andrews back , like a piggy back ride.

"Ready?", Peter asked. I glanced behind me and saw Eddie leaning against the doorway. I nodded back at Peter and us three trotted over to Eddie. "Are you coming", I asked Eddie, he nodded.

(Few hours later)
We were traveling through a long corridor again. My feet were numb cause I haven't stopped walking. My thoughts of pain and tiredness went away as soon as I caught a glimpse of movement on Andrews back. "Andrew she's awake", I said. Andrew slowed down and plopped Alexis down.

When we stopped Peter lunged for the floor and laid down ,"YESS , BREAK TIME!!", he shouted , this made Andrew and me chuckle. Eddie was leaning against wall , the furthest away from Alexis with his arms crossed. I wandered over to him.

Eddie just then put his hood up. "Eddie put your hood down, Alexis will want to know your alive ", I said . Eddie shook his head,"she has been beaten up now she awakes in pain then she will be in even more pain if she sees me , I will put my hood down after she has recovered a bit, happy with that?", Eddie said with a bit of a moody tone. "Alright fine but don't upset her", I said while back to Andrews side.

Eddie nodded . I told Peter and Andrew about Eddie idea so they don't give Alexis hints. Andrew seemed to dislike the idea whereas Peter agreed. At that instant Alexis woke up. "Hey guys", she said . We all cheered apart from mister grumpy pants, aka Eddie.

Peter and Alexis immediately got into a conversation. Me and Andrew chuckled away. Eddie had his hood up and was slouched on the floor away from the rest of us.

I broke away from Andrew and sat down next to Eddie again. "What's up sir grumpylot", I teased. Eddie just grumbled and looked down. "Well your cheerful then ", I said. This time Eddie looked at me, dead in the eye. "H-have you told her yet", Eddie nervously ask.

I shook my head in reply. Eddie seemed to be relieved of my denial. "I'm not that mean", I said. Eddie laughed , "well thanks", he replied.

"But..",I started to say. "There has to be a but, always a bloody but", Eddie moaned. "You have to promise me , that you will tell Alexis when she has recovered a bit", I asked. Eddie hesitated at first then rolled his eyes. "Please Eddie , we all know apart from her and you said earlier you will". Eddie hesitated at first,"Ugh, f-f-FINE", Eddie replied. I smiled which made Eddie look down again.

(We decided to start moving again , Alexis had to hold onto Peter for support. Eddie was staying behind because he wanted to avoid communicating with her. Alexis kept asking who he was and we all lied, I didn't like it but oh well.)

We eventually found stairs leading up , up to the outside world. "YESS , fresh air at last", Peter said. But there was one problem , where is the city??
