Chapter 17 - How to forgive

Timmy's PoV:
I was so happy to see him that i leant in and gave Andrew a small hug , Andrew took the hug while ignoring the pain.

"Timmy , hows Eddie", Andrew asked out of the blue. "Why do you want to know", i asked. "Its obvious Timmy", hunter said. "What do you mean, explain", I said getting concerned. "I was unconscious and Andrew here obviously couldn't move us all so who do you think saved us", hunter said raising his voice a bit.

I thought about it for a moment and realised i haven't seen Eddie at all, i looked at peter and he just looked down with shame. "I don't know how he is , i haven't seen him.", i replied looking down. "I have", alexis said wiping her tears. "How is he", Andrew asked. "He is better than you but..", alexis trailed off. "Andrew hows your back", alexis asked. "Its not as bad , i have a few scrapes , why do you ask", Andrew replied.

"His back took the damage for the pair of you", alexis said. I gasped and looked towards hunter who wasn't here anymore. "Im so sorry, if i had known then i might of seen him to thank him.", i said.

"Do you want me to tell you what happened", Andrew asked. I nodded and peter sat down next to me. "Okay , i was still tied up then before i knew it i heard an explosion and then i was flung back. I woke up in pure agony but i was being carried by Eddie , he had one arm round me and the other round hunter who had blood rolling down his face and he was unconscious and before long i was too due to too much blood loss cause my leg was in shreds", Andrew said. Then i awoke here and they told me everything then i fell asleep then woke up here", Andrew finished.

I gasped at what happened and before anyone could react i ran out the door and stood in front of eddies. A hand touched my shoulder which made me jump, i looked at peter who had his other hand on the handle and knocked. Peter pushed the door and there we saw a figure sitting in a chair next to a window.

I stepped closer while making aa little noise as possible but peter knocked into something which made quite the noise, Eddie turned slightly towards us and glanced his eyes at us then back at the window. We got closer and saw quite the amount of blood on the floor leading to where Eddie was now. "Eddie, is that your blood", peter asked with worry.

Eddie didn't budge,"why do you care", he hissed. I was taken aback by this comment, "we cane to see if your okay", i said. "You've only come because Andrew told you that i saved him from an early grave", he replied. "Thats not true, but he did tell us that", peter said. "Well i dont need your sympathy, cause one im a monster and two youve only come to thank me because i saved Andrew", Eddie stated.

In a way that was true but not , we came in only because Andrew said that he saved him so it must be hard for him knowing the reason but who told him.

"Who told you we would come", peter asked which was what i was going to do so i just nodded. "Hunter came in and told me then was called by Nathan for something", Eddie replied.

"Im sorry Eddie but can you please turn around", i pleaded. There was silence till Eddie stood up and turned towards us, i noticed where the blood now was coming from. He had a burned arm and a massive cut went across his arm which just leaked with blood. "Did you cut yourself", i asked. "So what if i did", Eddie grumbled.

"We need to bandage your arm", peter panicked. "Im fine", Eddie replied and walked to the bed while overlapping his original trail with more blood.

Peter was panicking and i was thinking of something to say but before i could the door opened. "Took your time", eddie called. "Yeah sorry , got caught up", Doctor bailey said walking towards eddie. "Doc , eddie cut himself", i said. Doctor bailey just stared at me then sat down next to Eddie. "I cut the burns to reduce the swelling", Eddie said. Ohh thats what happened.

"Good idea", doctor bailey praised. Me and peter sat in some chairs near the bed. "Do you have anything to help my back", Eddie asked. Doctor baileys smile went ,"we can reduce the pain till it heals but you will be severely scarred even though you can regenerate , burns arnt effected by that", doctor bailey said. Oh yeah Eddie was sliced multiple times but i don't see any signs of them on him.

"Can we see your back", peter asked, Eddie hesitated but soon nodded and beckoned the doctor to unwrap his bandages. Eddie closed his eyes and took fistfuls of the sheet on the bed as the doctor took the bandages off which were obviously agonising cause some were stuck to his burns.We waited patiently till Eddie looked at us then nodded.

We jumped up and the doctor helped Eddie stand up and he sat Eddie down on a stool so eddies back was facing us. The doctor covered eddies arm with bandages which mad Eddie yelp. I looked at disgust as i looked upon eddies back, it looked so raw and painful that i felt sorry for being mean to him , peter was once again on the brink of tears.

Soon the doctor turned Eddie round so i saw his pale face which was trying to hide the amount of pain he was going through as the doctor put some lotion on his back and then put some clean bandages on him.

After that was done Eddie settled himself in bed and just went "mm-hm", to everything we said then he eventually fell asleep. Peter was the first to notice. "Lets go, so we don't wake him", peter said and walked towards the door. I nodded and followed his lead to the living room.

I slumped myself on the sofa while thinking about how i could make it up to Eddie for being so mean to him over something that he was forced to become and he hasn't really attacked us when we found out. I feel like I'm the one that lashed out at him not the other way round.
