Chapter 14 - Final Goodbye?

Peters PoV:

I was happy to see them but inside I was scared , terrified of what they would do to us. The one thing that scared me right there and then was that my once best friend was a complete monster now, by just looking at his black fur and soulless red eyes. A chill went down my spine when I looked at the dark grey , green eyed beast on the other side of the room.

"stay down and don't move", he said. I nodded with hesitation. "I can't believe he changed as well", Timmy muttered. "I know right, Eddie kept saying that he wouldn't change but now", I said. Timmy went down and I did as well.

"What do we have her, some scavenging mutts", cleaver man said. "No, some rubbish removers, and your the trash", hunter said. While hunter spoke to the men , I saw Eddie come over towards Alexis and nudge her head. His expression changed from nothing to growling. "Woah mutt, these guys did it not us, we were punishing them and we're just about to untie her , so we can help her", a gunmen said in defence.

Eddie turned towards me while growling. That moment my heart nearly stop because of how scared I was at that moment. A man then came up behind Eddie and was about to hit him with his bat when Eddie turned round and literally bit his hand off.

The man staggered backwards and fell to the floor and begged for mercy till hunter finished him off. I had to look away , it was to gory for me, Timmy kept his eyes on the cleaver man who was so dangerously close.

Shots started the fight and hunter handled a gun man quite well until one hit him in the leg. But Eddie came in and saved him from getting shot in the face. "Il handle this , you free them", Eddie ordered. Hunter nodded and came over towards us and bit the ties off.

"You've been shot", Timmy asked and reached for the injury until hunter snapped at him,"don't touch me, we are only here because mister over  there needs to talk to our uncle and well we kinda saw you guys in trouble so Eddie begged me to help rescue you guys", he said.

As I was paying so much attention to hunter I didn't see that Eddie was in trouble. "Alexis!", Timmy shouted, I looked over and saw she was being held and the cleaver was pressed to her neck. Eddie was about to pounce at him ,"stay right there , or I will take her head", he said. Eddie growled but stood down. He beckond to the other guy to attack which he did and Eddie was sliced here and there , but he still stood there. We all stayed silent till Eddie just fell on the floor.

He soon turned back into human form, I couldn't see anything apart from his black cloak. The man who had Alexis came closer to eddies corpse , I was about to open my mouth till Timmy covered my mouth and stuck a finger to  his , beckoning me to be quiet.

"Well, he actually gave up , he must be dum", the cleaver man said. "Take her , il finish him", he said to the sword man. He did as he was told and held Alexis but not with a sword to her neck.  "We got to help him", I whispered. Hunter shook his head , "he's got this , just follow me", he said while limping away from them, towards the Windows.

"You move and I will kill your friend", the sword man said as he was about to pull out his sword. We all stopped and sat down, waiting for a miracle.

Hunter was calm and rested next to me with his head on my lap,"we need a miracle", I whispered. "We don't need one", he said. "What do u mean", I asked confused. "Watch", he said and closed his eyes. I didn't understand what he meant but I watched Eddie to a a miracle will happen.

I now noticed that the clever held Eddie by the head while kneeling down and held the clever to his neck. "Any last words boy", he smirked. All of a sudden Eddie smiled, he freaking smiled. The man was taken aback by this and loosened his grip on the cleaver.

In one fell swoop Eddie grabbed two blades hidden under his cloak and sliced the mans legs. The man fell back and screamed in agony, it was hard to watch , but I still watched.

The man who held Alexis trembled, and before long his head went rolling on the floor. I looked at eddies face and saw he had menacing red eyes instead of his friendly blue ones. "What's happened to him", I asked hunter, who was now sitting up looking alert.

"He has given in to the wolf", he said. "What do you mean", I asked. "Don't worry but get out of here fast", he said and ran towards Eddie who had now turned back into a wolf.Eddie snarled at Alexis , which hunter got in the way of. I ran and grabbed Alexis, Timmy came over and put her on his back. I helped Timmy get her over the window

Eddie was now snarling at hunter which I couldn't understand why. Hunter turned and saw me staring,"MOVE NOW", he shouted. I didn't but as soon as I saw Eddie lock on to me , I moved as fast as I could. He ran at me , which as he got closer I started to slow down and eventually I was frozen to the spot.
Within and instant hunter came and dragged Eddie to the floor by his throat,"run", hunter growled.

I ran and reached up to Timmy who held a hand down for me. "Come on hunter", Timmy shouted. "See you guys", he shouted back and in human form , he dragged Eddie to the corridor of the building a went round the corner. "We got to go back for them", Timmy said. "Bad idea , look", I said noticing the barely alive cleaver man holding a hand grenade which was triggered. I grabbed Timmy and put Alexis on my back and ran for it.

Within two seconds of running , an explosion commenced behind us,
The whole building went up in flames because that explosion triggered more around the building. "NO,ANDREW!!", Timmy wailed while falling to the ground crying. Tears fell from my eyes as I realised this.

We lost a friend today , hopefully the other two got out alive, I hope.
