Harry's stolid expression worried many in the room. He hadn't been on a killing spree since the 1940's, but they all remembered, or they had heard, what he'd done and they knew what he was capable of.
Alastair wasn't fazed at all, but he was wary and had guards standing by. Harry wasn't stupid, he knew that he was being watched and that he looked like a ticking time bomb, but he wasn't going to attack anyone unless it was Hunter.
Hunter was the reason that he was here in the first place. He'd gone and bitched about how he had Katerina all to himself and how she wasn't compelable. It wasn't like he was breaking any laws, he was careful enough to follow them, but he did know a few loopholes and sometimes he made use of them.
"Why am I here, Alastair?"
Harry was one of the few vampires that had enough balls to address the elder by his first name. It pissed Alastair off, but he liked his confidence and willingness to stand up to the one in charge because he felt like he had been wronged.
"You've been summoned to discuss the matter of Miss Katerina Lockette. What do you have to say about the matter of her immunity to compulsion?"
Harry's jaw clenched. He was infuriated that he was here to discuss what to do with Katerina. Granted, he'd been using her as a blood bag, but she wasn't just a disposable object, she was a person.
"It's fucking weird. Anything else?"
Alastair sighed and Marcus stood and spoke, "I've seen him with her in public! He's making this dangerous for all of us! He almost turned her twice! I saw it!"
Harry made use of his abilities for once and used his mind to throw Marcus into the neighboring wall, "Bullshit!"
Alastair shifted in his chair and sighed, "Harry, let's be reasonable about this. Have you come close to turning her at any time?"
Harry's green eyes hardened and his jaw clenched even tighter than before, "Irrelevant."
Alistair was getting fed up by this point and sighed, "Relevant. Have you or have you not?"
Harry ran his tongue over his teeth, "Yes. But I fixed it and she never knew."
"How many times?"
Harry glared at Alistair harshly, "Twice."
Alistair sank back in his chair and folded his hands together before he spoke, "This is a dangerous game you're playing Styles. If you slip up and expose us all...well, you already know what will happen. How long have you been feeding from her?"
Harry shrugged his shoulders, "I lost count."
He watched Alistair exhale through his nose and pinch the bridge of his nose, "You have to understand how dangerous this sounds, Harry. What if she finds out? We can't very well compel her if she's not compelable and if you turn her she's a threat to all of us because your previous tendencies will pass on to her."
Hunter smirked as he watched Harry's lips purse slightly, "That won't happen."
"And how is that guaranteed?"
Harry grit his teeth, "It won't happen."
Alastair drew his lips into a fine line, "You're to stop feeding from her immediately. Meeting adjourned."
Immediately, Harry protested, "No. The edict allows feeding off of someone for as long as desired. Only when said person hasn't been fed on for a month. Nowhere does it say that there is a time limit for feeding. She's still mine whether you like it or not. There's nothing you can do about it."
