Again, she hadn't seen the familiar stranger appear in her dreams for nearly a week. While she did like being free of his watchful eyes, she actually kind of missed seeing him in some way.

She had grown accustomed to seeing him in her dreams and now that he wasn't there it felt like something was missing and that was beyond strange.

The marks on her skin were still gone and whatever had happened to her neck seemed to be all in her mind because when she woke up the next morning everything was fine and there was nothing there other than her usual skin.

Katerina's dreams were getting strange again, they seemed to do that when he wasn't there and she wasn't sure if that was normal but she missed the calm normality of the dreams she had when he was around.

God she sounded insane.

She didn't even know this man, whoever he was, yet here she was constantly thinking about him and why he had disappeared from her sleeping mind.

Her gaze had shifted from her computer screen to the pretty colors that decorated the trees and the sidewalks outside the thin glass barrier. Katerina loved it when the seasons changed, the warm colors that took hold over the atmosphere and the steady drop in the temperature were wonderful in her eyes.

She'd been admiring the death of the previous season when someone walked by and caught her attention. His curls were that lovely chocolate colour and his eyes seemed to have that same captivating jade quality that she remembered vividly from her dreams.

It was him. It had to be him.

Her memory was a bit fuzzy because of the fact that she had been asleep every time that she saw him, but she was more than eighty percent positive that it was him.

Everything that cautioned her normally flew out the window because there he was, in the broad daylight, and she could finally get some answers even if it meant walking out on her work for a number of minutes.

Her flats nearly had her tripping on the tile as she practically bolted out the door to catch this mystery man before he disappeared again. Martha shouted at her from somewhere in the back but she ignored it and flung open the door, it's bells clashing loudly as she ran outside into the chilly air.

There were so many people and her eyes scanned the masses as quickly as they could before stumbling across that vaguely familiar head of chocolate coloured curls.

Katerina excused herself in a rather faint voice as she weaved her way through the crowded sidewalk to get to him.

Harry heard her and his eyes widened for a split second before returning to their normal size as he tried to think of a plan quickly. As soon as she made her way to him she was going to question him like he was the most fascinating thing in the world and he had to either come up with a way to slip away or some false answers to give her because he wasn't ready to give her up.

Her slim hand was on his shoulder too soon and he released a silent breath, closing his eyes briefly before forcing a small smile and bringing his fast paced walk to an end.

Katerina's voice was far less confident than it had ever been because now she wasn't so sure this was the man she had seen in her dreams.

"Excuse me, sir?"

His jade eyes met hers carefully, that false smile still on his lips, "Can I help you, Miss?"

Her words caught in her throat and where she had thought she knew everything she wanted to say, she was at a loss for words.

"I...uh...do I know you?"

Harry's smile grew slightly, the corners of his lips turning down slightly but unnoticeably as he forced his fangs back, he was still so hungry and he could taste her sweet blood already just looking at the faint veins that lined her skin.
