And, once again I wake up alive in that same little hospital room, with the mint green walls and the cold white tile floor.
I feel as if I keep waking up from a bad dream. Or I am stuck in time on the same day forever. Both of those I'd rather die than have it happen. Or, I'm invincible. Which I doubt is possible.
Breaking news!
Girl with amnesia is invincible!
Yeah... Not happening.
The doctor lady walks in. "Hey, I'm going to call you Amnesia. Amy for short. K?"
"I g-guess..."
"Okay, Amy. I'm going to ask you some questions about you and try to answer as many as possible." She tells me.
"Ok."
"First, how old are you?" She asked.
"I-I'm not even sure, I guess I'm about 16?"
"You look older."
I get out of the bed and walk over to the mirror.
"I remember!"
"You do?"
"Yes! I was celebrating my 21st birthday, and then..."
"And then?" She asks.
"I don't remember exactly, but I got drunk and started to climb up buildings and then I got stuck on a roof so I slept there." I didn't even know how I can remember this,"Then I woke up with amnesia."
"Wow." Her expression is surprised.
"I can't really remember anything else"
We are quiet for a while.
"Why can't I die?" I ask.
"Amnesia, I have no flipping idea."
