In Gaara's POV. Enjoy!

Abby and I told everyone about our relationship last night during our movie night. It went well, I think.

Everyone is awake now, but we're all still tired, moving around slowly and grumbling to communicate.

All except Abby, of course.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! It's not raining! Let's go for a walk! Let's go swimming! Let's go mountain climbing! Let's go outsiiiiide!"

How have I never seen this side of her before?

I guess I've never been around Abby right as she woke up before now. She's usually so mellow and perfectly fine with sitting around all day, but right now she's so energetic, I'm kind of scared.

"Gaara! Gaara!"

"Yes?"

"Look, it's not raining." Abby smiles wide at me and points at the glass doors, where the sun is shining bright outside.

"I see that." I'm exhausted.

"We need to go do something!"

"I need to go back to bed," Eddie comments.

"Sleep is for the weak!" Abby informs him.

"I'm hungry," Aleks informs her.

"Make food and let's go!" Aleks smiles at her enthusiasm, which causes a growl to form in my throat. Aleks hears and looks at me, eyes wide.

I stand from the recliner I fell asleep in and stretch. "Why are you so energetic?" I ask my girlfriend. What a weird word.

Abby giggles at the question. "Why wouldn't I be?"

She's just like Ayuga. They just can't stay inside for too long, and you kept them inside almost the entire day yesterday, so they're ready to get out there and get their energy out. Plus, their energy just builds up and builds up. It's never ending. Get used to it, Kid.

Shukaku's explanation calms me. I thought she'd been drugged or something. Okay, I guess it would be a good time to propose my idea. The sand demon agrees.

"Okay, go pack your things," I command. Abby just looks at me like she can't comprehend what I'm saying. "Pack your things. Like, to travel."

The word 'travel' gets through to her and she rushes up the stairs. "I had no clue she wanted to get out of here so bad," Temari comments.

I walk up the stairs and enter Abby's room, where she's hurriedly packing clothes. "Where are we going?" she asks me as she packs.

"Anywhere you want. You're going to show me what your usual life is like, outside of the Sand Village," I answer. Abby looks at me, pausing.

"Really?"

"Of course."

She throws her arms around me and hugs me as hard as her small body can. Y'know, her small body that contains tailed best, demon wolf chakra. It hurts a little but I don't mind the contact. "You make me so happyyyy." She giggles at me and pecks my lips, then she detaches from me and continues to pack as if it's nothing.

Your face is beet red, Kid. It's hilarious. You should see yourself. Shukaku is laughing at me.

"You're blushing," Abby says. She's done packing and her drawstring bag is slung on her back. She's already ready to go. How is that humanely possible?

"Let's get going," I say. "We have to stop at my house and pack a few things."

Abby nods. "You can keep all your stuff in my bag since you have your gourd and everything." I only nod and we walk back down the stairs.
