Life is more than just surviving. It's about living, loving, growing, compromising and probably a few more -ings. It's a constant battle but never forget to enjoy it. If you think it's boring then nothing's going to change in your life if you remain the same. Life is a journey with endless possibilities; don't let that pass you by.

At least this family sure doesn't.

The early morning wind blows through the open curtains as the sun peak from the horizon. Birds chirping from trees as drew trickles off of the luscious green leaves. The refreshing smell of the earth and the glistening grass that goes on for yards.

It all infiltrate every room creating such a melodious morning. I mean who wouldn't want to awake to this - oh, that's right.

"Lauren, Lynn! For the last time, get up!"

Lauren groan pulling the covers over her head; her mother bursting through the doors into her room quickly dragging the white cotton sheets off of her daughter and onto the floor.

"I'm going to wake your sister up now, don't make me have to come back into this room Lauren Mixter." The woman warn before walking to the opposite room.

Lauren laughs as her mother starts yelling at her sister to wake up. Rolling of the bed Lauren walks to the door and into her sister's room bursting out in laughter when she sees her mother togging at the covers as the other girl holds on for her dare life.

"Lauren help me get your sister up or I'm getting cold water for her." Their mother warn.

"Please do that, that'll be fucking awesome." The younger sibling said through laughter.

"Lauren Mixter watch your language. I blame your mother for this!"

Ignoring her mother Lauren jumps on the bed sitting on top of the older sibling, "Get up shit head, mom will be home soon." As soon as the words left Lauren's mouth they hear the sound of the front door opening and a loud voice calling out.

The three quickly scrabble out of the room, Lynn tripping Lauren in the hallway and running down the stairs laughing loudly. Groaning Lauren slowly got up on her knees but was quickly pushed back down by her 12 year old brother running pass her.

"Fucking morons." She mutters finally walking down the stairs; watching as her siblings crowd around the front door.

"Finally Lauren, are you to cool to come see your mother after so long."

Glaring at her siblings who's snickering softly, "Of course not mom." She said embracing her mother and sighing in relief. It felt like ages since Lauren last hugged her mom; in reality it's only been a few weeks since she's been gone for work but Lauren missed the security and love she felt in her mother's embrace.

"It seems like someone really missed you Whit." Her other mother teased.

Whitney chuckles as Lauren whines in her mother's arms, "Leave my little baby alone Sada, she missed her favourite mother."

"Little my ass, this dipshit is 19 or are you getting to old to remember mom."

"Lynn language!" Sada yells but goes unheard as Lynn joins in on the embrace.

"This is why I missed you." Lynn softly whispers to her mother making the three women laugh.

"Group hug." Sami yells joining his two bigger sisters and his mother.

Smiling Whitney looks up from the mini huddle at her front door, to her wife, "Come give mama some sugar." She exclaims to her wife and 18 month old daughter in hand.
