Lapidot: My Tutor (Human Highschool AU)

First Day

"Lapis honey are you awake?" Lapis' s mother asked as she opened the door to Lapis's room. Lapis was on her bed listening to music. "Lapis honey school starts in 20 minutes and you can't be late on your first day" Lapis's mom said.

"Ugh do I have to go?" Lapis asked taking her headphones off. Her mom nodded. "Alright just let me change" Lapis said heading to her closet.

Lapis looked through her closet. All she had was blue or plaid sweaters and band shirts. She also only had black or blue jeans. She sighed and put on black jeans with a twenty-øne pilots shirt and a blue plaid sweater.

Lapis headed downstairs and grabbed her bookbag. "Lapis honey take this paper to show to the principal. About your condition." Lapis's mother said handing Lapis a paper full of writing.

"I know mom you told me like 20 times. You don't have to worry im 17 now. I can handle myself" Lapis said as she headed to the door. "I just worry for you sweetie. Have a good day!" Lapis's mom said as she waved at Lapis through the door.

Lapis waved back. The school was 2 blocks away so she could walk their by herself. Lapis felt the wind going through her short blue hair. She had 10 minutes to get to school or she would be late.

Lapis saw a few other students walking to school. They all had their own little groups while walking. Lapis walked alone.

Lapis and her mom had barely moved here because her dad had gotten murdered. Lapis tried to get the memory out of her head but she had seen when it happened. Lapis breathed in and out.

"The past is the past" Lapis thought as she neared the highschool. It was a big highschool and everyone was outside. Their were a lot of boys and girls just their talking and on their IPhone's as kids do know a days. Lapis rolled her eyes.

Lapis walked into the school.
