I wake up early the next day, which is something I usually don't do. I wake up a whole 2 hours before I actually have to go to classes. I take a shower, get dressed, you know the usual things you do before school, and check the time. 6:30, still a whole hour until school starts. I decide to take this extra time that I rarely get to go get breakfast on campus. I grab my bag and head out the door. I put my earbuds in and press shuffle on my newly made playlist named "JaeBum". Call me obsessed, I don't care.

I am locking the door to my room, when I feel a tap on my shoulder. I try really hard to resist the urge to turn around and hit whoever it is, and just settle for flinching and gasping a bit. I turn around with shock and confusion on my face. Once I saw who it is, my face quickly turns a faint shade of red. JaeBum.

"Sorry, I should have learned from yesterday not to do that," he says with a little laugh. His laugh is so perfect, it sends shivers down my spine.

I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say. I probably look so weird, just staring into his eyes, his dark slender eyes. Surrounding his beautiful eyes is his creamy, pale skin. Hanging from his ears are at the least 3 earrings on each ear. His messy slicked back auburn hair suits him well. I get lost in his face. I have to blink a couple times to focus on what he's saying.

The moment didn't seem awkward even though I was just staring at him. I imagined what he was thinking about me.

His floppy hat that laid on top his brown hair that neatly fell down to hide his forehead. His shyness that complemented his "trying-my-best-to-not-run-away-and-hide" face was so cute. His nervousness and rosy color on his cheeks that suited his skin. His hipster glasses, that you can tell he doesn't need and just uses it for style, that somewhat cover his eyes. His red and black plaid flannel shirt and blacks jeans, such a simple combination yet it just seemed so different on him, it made him stand out.

"Anyway," he said, continuing the one-sided conversation we were having, "I'm happy that I caught you before you left. I was wondering, if you don't mind, if you can show me where to get something to eat around here."

I felt a sharp tingle run through my body. He wanted me to show him around, he might even want to get breakfast with me. I grinned without meaning to.

"Yeah, I was just heading there now," I told him. He smiled back at me and we headed towards the cafe.

"Here we are," I say as we walk into the room. There is only a few people there, like 5 or so. I lead him to the line. I just grab an apple and make a quick hot chocolate.

"You can get whatever, I'll pay," I say to him.

"Really? You don't have to do that?" He says.

I shake my head. "No, really, it's on me."

"Thank you," he says. He takes a bagel and a coffee and I paid for the food at the counter. "Where do you want to sit?" He asks.

I was happy that he asked me where to sit and that I didn't have to ask him. I felt like if I asked him, then it would pretty much forcing him to sit with me, but now that I know that he wants to sit with me it makes the whole situation easier for me.

"Wherever," I respond.

He shrugs and walks over to a table near the window. When we sit down, I started to rethink this whole situation. He's right there, right across from me, looking as handsome as ever, and I have talk to him.

I take in a deep breathe. "So, where did you transfer from?" I ask. This is pretty much the only question that could appear in my fogged-up mind.

"I moved here from South Korea," he says nonchalantly. I look at him in shock.

"Wow, that must have been a big change," I say back.

"I mean, not really. I was born here in America and then moved to Korea when I was in 8th grade. I went to one of those international schools, where they mostly speak English. Moving to Korea was actually more of a change than moving back here."

I just nod, not really sure what to do with the information he just gave me. I'm not very good at, you know, interacting... looking... talking.... You know, social skills. But hey, who needs them right?

"That's cool," I respond to him and take a sip from my cup.

He laughs, "Why do you always do that?" he asks with a grin.

I freeze, "Do what?" I ask slowly.

"You know," he says, "I'm trying to have a conversation here. I mean, do I find it adorable that you're shy? Yeah, I do, but I want to get to know you better."

I just look at him. He doesn't look angry or anything, he just looks back at me. I don't know how to respond. My cheeks just flare red and I look down at my apple, we're definitely twinning right now.

He smiles again, I'm starting to think that I got his personality wrong, he is definitely the type to smile and laugh a lot. "That's so cute. Actually, you're so cute," he smirks at me which honestly didn't help my blush.

"Oh come on. You're just gonna let me tease you like that?" he questions.

I take my eyes and look at his eyes. They're so dark, it's nothing like his personality. I just shrug in response at his question. He laughs again.

"Okay, okay, point taken. It's okay, I like the shy ones anyways. It means that it's twice as much fun to get to know you," he said with a wink. He got up and took his trash with him. "I know you know my name," he adds before he walks away, "But do me a favor and call me JB, then I'll be able to tell your voice from others. Because, you know, I never really heard it." He winks at me again and leaves for good this time. I just sit there stunned, face red, fired up, and heart pounding.
