Eclipse! Part II

Kaminari's P.o.v

The king of Fiore had called all the guilds to the center of Fiore so that he could talk to us. He told them about the horde of 10,000 dragons and everyone started to panic. Something to me, doesn't seem right. If a horde of 10,000 dragons was heading our way, then we would hear them by now because of their roaring and wings.

"We plan to use the Eclipse Canon, better known as Eclipse 2 to wipe out most of the dragons." He said and I furrowed my eyebrows. 'Eclipse Canon? No that doesn't sound right to me.' I said in my thoughts. "Really? It's going to wipe out most of the dragons?!" Gramps said in surprise. "Yes, a few hundred will be left over, so I'm askung you all to please, save this kingdom from destruction!" He cried.

"Of course we'll help!" A few mages exclaimed. "This surely will be the perfect time for all the guilds to work together!" The Lamia Scale master said. Everyone seemed happy and excited about this, and I don't understand why they are. Do they understand that dragons are dangerous?! I almost lost my friends and family to Acnologila, and he's just one dragon!

Suddenly the ground started rumbling and they got quiet. "What's that shaking?" Someone shouted out. "I'm not sure, it felt like it came from the castle!" Erza said. My eyes widened in realization, there's no other weapon like an Etherion blast! The dragons are coming from the Eclipse gate! That's why Future Rogue was so hellbent on killing Lucy, she's the only person who can close it!

I broke away from the crowd and started to head back to the castle do that I can tell them before its too late. Or at least use a thought projection to tell them. "Kaminari where are you going?" Gramps asked me and I stopped running. "Back to the castle because the 'Eclipse Canon' is a hoax! The dragons are going to be coming from the gate, that's why Future Rogue was so hellbent on killing Lucy!" I told him.

The crowd started mumbling about me being crazy or something but I ignored it. We all heard a loud roar of a dragon and a large crash. Suddenly the ground in front of me was destroyed from the Eclipse gate, all the way threw the town. If I was a step closer I would've been dead! I'm scared, I don't want to fight any dragons!

"Whoa! Did you see that!" "She was right the dragons are coming from Eclipse!" "Do you think we'll be able to defeat them?" I heard questions like those in the crowd and I started running back to the castle. I see a few dragons, about 5 or 6 of them. One is enough to just destroy everyone so how are we going to get rid of all these dragons!?

"Kaminari wait!" I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Sting. "Yes what is it Sting?" I ask and he suddenly hugged me and I blushed. "S-Sting." "Kaminari, please be careful fighting these dragons. I don't want you to get hurt really bad or die." Sting said loud enough for only us to hear and I smiled as I hugged him back. "I promise Sting. And promise me you won't die on me." I said as we pulled away and gazed into each other's eyes

"I promise." He said and we kissed before we split ways. I could count 7 dragons in the sky as of now and from where I'm standing, it looks like Lucy and Yukino closed the gate. Now all we have to do is kill the 7 dragons that came threw. Hmm who do I want to fight? 'How about the green guy?' My subconscious said and I nodded. 'Yeah the others look too scary and powerful.'
