"Morning, how's my baby boy today?" Olivia says with a smile as she picks up her son from his bed.
"Morning mommy" he says as he is resting in Olivia's hip.
"How about, we get ready for school, and, I make us some pancakes!" She says as she walks down the hall from his bedroom to the bathroom.
"Yay!" He giggles.Olivia helps him brush his teeth and wash his face. He had his bath last night, with bubbles and his ducks. She takes him into his bedroom and picks out some clothes for him to wear.
He insists that he does the velcro on his shoes, because he is a big boy now.
Olivia is happy that he can do things on his own, but at the same time still wants to do everything for him.
"I'm all ready!" He says pulling on his mother's arm.
"I can see, okay then, let's go get those pancakes I promised" she says crouching down to his height. "Do you want Nutella and strawberries?" She asks
"Yay" he giggles again as he claps his hands.
They make their way to the kitchen, she picks him up and sits him on the breakfast bar. She makes his pancakes, whilst making conversation with herself in her head.
He won't tell anyone will he? I mean, I've told him not to. I told him it's our little secret. It happened like a week ago, but the bruises only seem to have gotten worse...
"Mommy!" Noah yells dragging her out of her thoughts.
"What's up?"
"Please, Can, I please, have some orange juice please" he says with a cheeky smile
"Ughhh" she jokes as she rolls her eyes.
When she acts like this it always gets a good reaction from him. He laughs as he claps his hands.
She pours him the juice and hands it to him in a blue cup.
"Thank you mommy"
"Anything for my baby boy"
