"Sup bitch," one of my friends says as soon as she sees me walking into the cafeteria.

"Hey Montana," I answer with a small wave.

I join her at our table by the window. Montana has been my friend since year 7, when I first met her. We were friends from the first sentence she ever said. She referenced my favourite show and let's just say that we fangirled our way into a lifelong friendship.

"You and the small waves, just do something cool for once to go with your perfect body and face," she reminds me.

She's always been jealous of my beauty but she doesn't hate me, she just rewind ale every so often about it. She tries so hard to be cool but I don't even have to try and everyone is after me. I don't like the attention that much but Montana loves it.

"How many times do I have to remind you? I don't like the attention, I don't want to be cool."

"But you still are," she answers.

"I don't have control over that, I can't control what people think about me or what they do," I answer with a sigh.

I hate people always resenting me or "following me" as Montana says.

"I know and I'm sorry. Should I we get to class now? There's only five minutes left till the bell and I know I'll want some time to chat with the new guy before class," Montana rants.

"Wait, what? There wasn't a new guy yesterday..."

"Of course not, it's today's news."

That girl, always knowing what's going on even before school. I don't understand how and I would never be able to do that anyway.

"You amaze me every time," I say with wide eyes.

Every single time. Even though I know she does this everyday, I'm still amazed.

"Let's go then, time is of the essence here,"

I stand up yet again and walk to the classroom with Montana. Once we enter we see some bits that we remotely know and a new guy.

He's...different.

He has black hair and green eyes. His features are pale and he looks like he's from some kind of movie. He's hot, that's for sure. But he seems different and kind of strange.

"Hey Montana, beauty queen!" Some guy calls out. I think he's called Jake.

Some people call me beauty queen sometimes...I hate it.

"Hey Jake, introduce us to your new friend!" Montana replies.

I can always count on her to save me from a stupid moment. I can't even remember people's names.

"This is Aydan, Aydan, this is Montana and miss beauty queen," Jake introduces.

Why can't people just call me by my name?

"I can see why she's called beauty queen," Aydan says to Jake.

Unbelievable, just as if I wasn't here.

"Excuse me, I'm right here," I say loud and clear for everyone to hear.

They can't pretend I'm not here now.

"Sorry, i didn't see you there. Are you really here or do you just let your body do the talking?" Aydan says.

This is not gonna end well. No one ever disrespects me and if they do....lets just say it's going to get messy.

My face goes slowly red so that people see it. Montana sees me and she instantly knows what's up.

"You really shouldn't have said that Aydan, she's isn't the type of girl to get pushed around," Montana days, sensing the tension and what's about to come.

"Well maybe your friend here should speak for herself and not be such a bitch, looks aren't everything," he replies.

That's it, I'm not holding back anymore.

He better watch out!
