** Twin Stars from the Like Crazy soundtrack inspired me for the first chapter.

In all honesty just keep the Like Crazy soundtrack up as you progress through this fan fiction. A lot of my inspiration came from this soundtrack. I pictured Rose landing off the plane to this song. Okay enough authors note; let's get ta readin'! J xxx**

"We are now boarding American Airlines flight Similar Groves to London, England. Now boarding at gate 4."

The woman's voice said over the intercom. I looked over to my mother who had tears pricking in her eyes. "Oh Pebbles!" my mom cried as she pulled me into her arms for about the 11th time today. My mom was never fond of the idea of me going over seas to college, but I worked hard and got accepted and I wanted this. So she agreed to let me go.

"Mom, I will be fine." I smiled. My mom and I have always been close so, crazily enough I will truly miss her. "Peb, I know you will.." she said pulling me out of her arms and looking at me. I took my backpack off and opened the zipper. I pulled out one of my famous paper bears I have always made her since I was about 7. I handed the flimsy bear to her. More tears began to pool out of her eyes as she pulled me into a hug again. "I love you momma but I have to go, I really don't want the plane to leave without me." I said pulling out of her grip. I turned around and smiled at my step-dad who pulled me into one of his bear hugs. "I'll miss ya kiddo." He said his smile faltering. "I'll see you guys in December." I said, pulling out of his grip now. Taking their hands I said, "I love you guys both so much. I will miss you terribly." I said. My eyes starting to get watery, but I know I can't cry. I want to go. So I will. I have the opportunity. I let go of their hands. "I have a present." My mom said, pulling out of her Kate spade purse she handed me a rectangular box. I opened it, inside revealed a tiny teddy bear on a gold chain.

Don't cry. Don't cry. Don't cry. I repeated in my head but my eyes still were brimming with tears.

"I love you bear, see you soon." I said. Hugging her one last time.

"Last call for boarding of the plane to London, England at gate 4. Last call for boarding of the plane to London, England at gate 4. Thank you."

The woman's voice said over the intercom once again. "I will call you when I get to my dorm. I love you." I said again. Giving them each one more a big hug.

"Love you too pebbles." "Later Kid. Be safe, don't fall in love over there." My dad said smiling. "I won't." I laughed. Picking up my suitcase. I turned around on my heel. Walking towards the gate. I handed the woman at the desk my ticket and looked down the long hallway leading me to the airplane. I turned around to see both of my parents smiling with tears in their eyes. I gave them a small wave before turning back around. 'Love you guys.' I mumbled walking down the hallway.

I found my seat in the middle of the plane next to an elderly woman. Sitting in the seat closest to the aisle. "Sorry dear if you wanted this seat." She apologized. "Oh no ma'am it's alright, I love window seats." I smiled at her. In return she smiled back. I reached up and put my luggage into the compartment, then slid into the seat near the window. Taking in a huge breath I tried to choke the tears down, but I couldn't and the tears began to fall freely. I will miss my mom, I'll miss my dad and dogs, I'll miss my room, but there's world out there I need to see.

I ran a hand through my dark hair trying to relieve some stress. I closed my eyes during the safety instructions, trying to think of London, and then began to smile. I will be there soon.

"We will be taking off in a few minutes!" said the kind, elderly woman next to me.

I smiled before responding, "I know."

I closed my eyes once again as the plane began to move quickly, and soon no longer touch the ground.

"We are now 1,000 feet in the air. You may now use any electronic devices and you are free to roam the cabin." Said the pilot.

I grabbed my iPhone from my bag and saw the rectangular box from my parents. I pulled out the teddy bear necklace and put it on. I was about to cry but held it in this time, because I know my parents are proud of me. I then put my ear buds in and turned on some piano music. It always calms me. Once again I smile looking out the window realizing I am finally free. Going to the place I have always wanted to venture. England. I closed my eyes and leaned back in the seat. Preparing for the 6-hour flight to my destination.

*******Haven't flown in a while, don't really remember what they say! Sorry for it! :P I will update daily!! Keep readin'! xx**********
