Why Did They Choose Us?

Marisol POV

When we got downstairs I immediately started looking for Melody. I found her by the door meeting the happy couples coming in. She didn't look bad; she was wearing a baby blue dress that went down to her knee.

"Okay, I'm going to Melody's office." I informed Geni.

"Alright, but be careful please." Geni told me.

"I will, don't worry." I reply back giving, her a slight smile.

Melody's office is the second door on the left in the hallway. I checked to see if her door was open and luckily it was. Going in and shutting the door as quickly as possible, I went straight to her desk that was in the middle of the room. She kept the keys on the last door on the left. I took up a bobby pin I have in my pocket I started to pick the lock to open it. Unlock in under a minute? New ecord. I've gotten really good at it; well, who wouldn't when you have to pick the locks at your own house just to get something to eat. I look for the key that belonged to the front door, when I found it I took it out off the key-chain it was on. I put the rest of the keys back and closed the drawer. Checking to see if anything looked out of place, I went to the door and opened it, sticking my head out to see if anybody was there. When I didn't see anyone, I got out and closed the door as quiet, and quickly, as possible behind. When I was close to the living room I ran into Melody.

"What are you doing over here?" Melody asked me, putting her hand on her hip and raising her eyebrows.

"I was going to the bathroom." I answered back quickly.

"Go back to the living room were everybody's at." She snapped at me. I just nodded and started to make my way to the living room. Once I got there, I found Geni sitting down on the stairs. She saw me and got up right away.

"Did you get it? Did she catch you? What happened?" Geni questioned me, noticeably intrigued.

"Let's go to our room and I'll tell you all about it there." I whispered. When we got to our room, I closed the door and made sure it was locked.

"So, what happened? Tell me! I'm getting old here!" Geni joked. This girl can be so impatient sometimes.

"I got it!" I exclaimed with a smile on my face.

"Yay! Now, let's celebrate!" Geni said while she started to dance around the room. We danced around the room and sang to One Direction like idiots till late and passed out on our beds long after.
