Marisol POV
I was in our room looking out the little window we have. I share a room with my best friend Geni but we consider each other sisters. If you haven't guessed it, we live in an orphanage. I've been here since I was 10 and Geni came two years after. We tell each other everything and she's the only one that knows my story. Here, in the, orphanage we are consider the weird ones because we like to keep to ourselves. One of the things we have in common is that we have crushes on a boy-band call One Direction - we think all of them are cute but I have a soft spot for Niall and Zayn. Geni has a soft spot for Liam and Harry. I heard somebody come into the room and since there wasn't any yelling, I knew it was Geni. I turn around to look at her, and she looked really tired.
"Hey, you done helping them get ready?"
"Yeah, they are very excited about the family coming." she answered. Geni was helping the younger kids get ready to meet a family and see if they get adopted. I stopped going down a long time ago and I gave up on thinking someone was ever going to adopt me.
"Are you going down with them?" I ask her.
"No, I'm going to stay here so we can finish the plan."
