Second Flower Chances

Sam's POV

There was a knock at the door. and then another one. And another. I guess I couldn't avoid it forever. Why can't my dad be home to open the door when I'm in such a terrible mood.




I opened the door to see HER. The reason I'm so pissed right now.




"Why? That's all I'm asking."




"These Flowers, they aren't perfect. They are tattered, stepped on, and broken.like all of us. All The Flowers needs is someone to give them a second chance and take another at them and it can blossom. So I'm just going to give you these flowers so maybe, you know, you can give them another look." She looked like I small innocent five year old holding out the flowers with her lower lip pouting out.

I took the flowers from her hand, giving her a huge hug. She buried her head on my shoulder.




"Can you promise me that you will care about the flowers?" She said sniffling




"Why should I?" I said holding her face In front of mine whipping the tears off her cheeks.




"Because they care about you too. But you need to give them time, time to grow."




"I think I can take care of that" she then buried her head in my chest.




"I'm sorry, this wouldn't be such a big stink if we didn't meet three days ago." She left the tight grip of my arms rubbing her eyes.




"What no, don't worry about it."




"Ok, Well thanks for making me feel better, bye."




Like that she was gone.




Mia's POV

As soon as I got back home I stayed in my car for a little and cry a bit. I needed a break, today was an eventful day. To much for me to handle.




I got inside whipping away the tears and then I sat on the couch with Alexa and Rebecca like everything was normal.




"Guys, I think I'm gonna take a break from everyone." I sat there staring blankly at the tv.




"I get it, it's fine. It's healthy. After a big move some things can become overwhelming and we all have our breaking points, so spill it what happened." Rebecca said snuggling next to me as Alexa passed me the tub of popcorn.
