The New Girl Is LIANA..!!!!!

“What do you think Kev?” Sid asked me and his voice made me snap out of my mind.
I was with Sid and Aron (aka Mr. intelligent who was Sid’s friend) in canteen. I was drinking a diet coke and was having a conversation with them. But I happen to space out again.
“Huh! What?” I gave him a questioning look with a raised eyebrow.
“We want your opinion. What do you think about it?” he asked me.
I bulged my eyes out and nodded sideways which made them realize I knew nothing about what they were conversing about.
“Nothing bro just leave it. By the way what’s up with you nowadays? You seem to be disturbed. Is everything okay with you?” Aron asked me with his eyes filled with concern.
I didn’t know how to answer to his question so I stammered “Umm actually…I…I…I will get going now. I have some work that needs to be done so I will see you guys later okay?” I left my breath with a ‘hfff’ sound which I didn’t know I was holding. I got up from my seat abruptly and snatched my sling bag from the table. I fastened my pace and waved at them when I reached the main door of the canteen.
As soon I was about to step outside the canteen my extraordinary senses made its way.
I have got this super power of hearing distant voices clearly which is out of human capability. Whenever there is something important related to me or my special ones, my ears’ capability automatically increases. ‘Wow I am proud of my super ears’
“Hey did you check out the new girls who joined our college yesterday?” I heard Aron say it with an excitement in his voice. Not only he is aka Mr. Intelligent but also girl’s maniac.
“Yeah I checked all of them. Most of them are hot and sexy but not much than my 'babe'.” Sid said and emphasized on the word 'babe' referring it to Kiera.
“There’s one girl. Umm wait I know her name…it’s…umm…what? Ummm…yes, yes it’s LIANA!”
Wait what? I questioned myself. Liana? Is he talking about that Liana or…wait there can be many Lianas in this world and it can’t be that girl.
“Oh you mean Liana Hayden?you  know what..
she’s my babe’s best friend. Actually they two were in same grade but I heard that Liana spoiled her first year. So she’s joining college this year while we all are in the second year.” Sid said.
Really? This can’t be happening. No she’s not that Liana. Damn!
I plugged in my earphones and played a song because I didn’t want to listen to them anymore.
I fastened my pace to the parking lot. I  spotted my black SUV and slid inside. I was starting the engine and then I couldn’t believe in what my eyes just landed on. They were right, it was her. She had joined the same college. She looked so stunning wearing that casual outfit. She wore high waist jeans shorts which complimented her long legs with white converse, white tank top and a check shirt wore like a jacket from outside, hair pulled up into a messy bun and a two strap bag hung low at her back. She was talking with her friends and laughing out loud.She looked so carefree.
Then all of a sudden she looked at my direction and knitted her eyebrows trying to focus in my direction.
Her eyes met with mine and it's then I realized that I was actually checking her out.  she was surprised to see me, like I was surprised to see her few minutes ago. She approached towards me but then I drove my car as fast as possible totally ignoring her.

The elevator’s door opened with a 'ding and I stepped out of it walking towards my apartment door . I entered my password and got in. I went directly into my bedroom and threw my sling bag in a bean couch and plop down on my bed. I stayed there for  sometime and got interrupted by the roaring of my stomach. I got up and took off my clothes. The day was quiet hot so I just wore a boxer.
I went down and entered the kitchen. opening the fridge I  drank a bottle of  chilled water.and then there was this
‘Grrrrrrr’sound reminding  me of my hungry little  tummy.
I took out a packet of raw steak from the freezer and put the grill on the stove. When the grill was hot enough I threw the raw steak on the hot grill and cooked it for some minute.
When I was done with cooking I sat myself on one of the stools and enjoyed my meal. It was always the same thing only me and my food and I was actually used to it. 200 years before I used to have a good supper with my family in my own world but then everything changed. Now I was here in this human world for last 10 years so I started eating alone. I could not eat with humans because I was forbidden to do so. Our ancestors believed that associating with humans only led to various problems. We don’t want to reveal our true identity so it was better if we didn’t associate with human beings. So that is the reason why I don’t have much friends.

I smiled to myself when I realized that I was spacing out again.
When I was done with my food I went to my living room and plopped down on one of the couch and held my guitar. The strings started making a pleasant music and then I was drawn back to the memories of my past which always made my heart sink.
