*Sarah’s POV*

“I would love that,” I tell Jade.

“I’ll wait for you down here,” she tells me, “you can go pack.”

I run upstairs and immediately begin packing my bag. Since I don’t have many things it doesn’t take a lot of time for me to pack. I make it to the door and turn around looking around my room for the last time. When I make it downstairs Jade is waiting there with Ms. Stevens next to her.

“Sarah,” Ms. Stevens says, “may I speak to you alone quickly?”

Jade gets the hint and grabs my bag telling me she’ll wait in the car. I watch her as she walks through the door then turn back to Ms. Stevens. She has tears in her eyes as she hugs me.

“I’m going to miss you. I want you to take this.” She tells me as she puts a silver locket around my neck.

I look down at it and smile.

“I love it” I say holding back tears.

“Remember darling I’m always here if you ever need me.”

She hands me a piece of paper with her number on it.

“You should get going before Jade gets impatient,” Ms. Stevens says kissing me on the cheek, “I love you and always will.”

“I love you too,” I tell her as a walk out the door as somebody’s daughter.

The car ride to Jade’s flat is quiet, but it’s a nice quiet not the awkward silence. I looked at the locket I had taken off. After staring at it for a little bit I try to open it and reveal two photos, one is from when I was about six and the other one is Ms. Stevens. We both look so happy in the pictures. I can’t bring myself to look away, but as tears form I finally look away. I try blinking them away before Jade notices, but a couple tears escape. Grabbing both ends of the chain I bring them around my neck and secure it. The rest of the drive I spend looking out the window. When we finally pull up to the flat I gasp.

“Do you like it?” Jade asks me, “Oh yeah I almost forgot to tell you about Perrie. She is in Little Mix with me and she lives here too.”

“Where do Jesy and Leigh-Anne live?” I ask realizing how creepy that sounds

“Ahh so you do know us.” Jade laughs, “They live just down the road from us.”

I nod as Jade helps me get my bags. We walk up to the door and Jade opens it revealing my new home. I notice a living room to my left and a staircase on my right. There is a hall a little past the stairs. The door next to the living room is the kitchen I’m assuming.

“Down that hall,” Jade points to the hall I noticed earlier, “there are a couple guest rooms and a bathroom. Up these stairs is your room, my room, and Perrie’s. All of our rooms have bathrooms connected.” Jade stops in front of the third door on the left and opens it. “This is your room. My room is two doors down if you need me. I’m going to go downstairs and start cooking dinner. Perrie should be home shortly.”

After Jade leaves I begin unpacking all of my things. When I open the door to my closet I realize this is larger than my room at the orphanage was. I unpack my clothes and end up only filling a fourth of the closet. Once everything is where I want it, I lie down on my bed and think about everything that has happened so far today. About 30 minutes later I hear Jade call me down for dinner. I hurry down and am greeted by the best looking dinner I have ever seen.

“Jade who’s this?” a blond woman asks as she gets plates for everyone. I jump a bit not noticing her.

Jade laughs at me and begins telling the other person who I am. “Perrie this is Sarah. She is going to be living here for a while. I adopted her today from the local orphanage.”

“Nice to meet you Sarah my name’s Perrie” Perrie greets me as she pulls me in for a hug.

“I-I-I know,” I stutter feeling like a complete idiot.

“Sarah here is apparently a Little Mixer,” Jade informs Perrie, “She told me she’s excited to meet Jesy and Leigh.”

Dinner consists of us just talking about random things. At one point we were talking about what is better, Glee or New Girl, Jade voted New Girl while Perrie and I voted for Glee. After everyone was done eating Perrie suggests that we put in a movie and relax for a while. Jade and I look at each other and race to the couch as Perrie just giggles at how mature we’re being.

Perrie looks like she suddenly got an idea, “Jade go get as many pillows and blankets as you can. Sarah pick out a couple movies. I’ll go get some snacks.”

Jade looks at her as if trying to figure out what Perrie is planning. She quickly gets up and gets all the blankets and pillows from the guest rooms and puts them on the floor in front of the television.

“Perrie what are you planning? The blankets and pillows are here. I think Sarah has finished picking out the movies. We’re just waiting on you.” Jade comes over to see which movies I picked. “Lion King, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and Grease. I like your choices.”

Jade and I sit on the couch and wait for Perrie to come back with the snacks. When she finally comes back she has two bowls of popcorn, six sodas, three packs of candy, and eight boxes of biscuits.

“Jade help me and Sarah make a fort.” Perrie commands.

We get up and help build a fort. Within 20 minutes out fort is built and we a laying down getting ready to start Lion King. By the time Can You Feel the Love Tonight began playing I was fighting to keep my eyes open. Eventually I gave in and let my eyes close.

The next morning I wake up to find Perrie and Jade still asleep. I get up and clean up the mess. In our sleep we spilled the bowls of popcorn all over the floor. I spend close to an hour cleaning up. Then I go to the kitchen and search the cabinets for a bowl. Once I find the bowls I grab some cereal, milk and a spoon. I go back to the living room and see Jade and Perrie hugging each other in their sleep. Since I don’t have a phone, I grab Jade’s and take a picture. I sit back down on the couch and eat my cereal while watching some tv show. After I finish my breakfast I get up and I hear someone groan. I look down and realize I had accidently stepped on Perrie’s hair. As she slowly wakes up I sneak back into the kitchen. I decide to try and make them breakfast. After a quick search for a pan, I grab a couple eggs from the refrigerator and begin scrambling them. As the eggs cook I get a couple glasses and fill them with orange juice. Just as the toast pops out of the toaster I hear a voice behind me.

“Hey Sarah,” Perrie yawns, “did you sleep well?”

“Yeah I did. Sorry about waking you up this morning. I made you and Jade some breakfast if you want it.” I say as I spread jam on their toast and put the eggs on their plates. “I’m going to go wake Jade up.”

“Aww thanks sweetie. This looks amazing,” Perrie says as she gets ready to take a bit, “tastes amazing too.”

“Thanks.” I respond smiling.

I head out to the living room to find Jade all tangle up in the blankets. Laughing at how awkward she looks I go up to her and gently shake her.

“Jade wake up. I made you breakfast.” I try to coax her out of the blankets. She swats at me with her hand.

“Go away. Let me sleep.” she moans. Her voice is muffled by a pillow.

“Fine.” I say walking away. I go back to the kitchen where I find Perrie already finished with her food. “Hey Perrie will you help me wake Jade up?”

“Lets go,” Perrie begins walking out to the living room when she pauses, “Go grab the Cheerios.”

I do as she says and we go out to wake Jade.
