Waking up from my good little nap, I decided to do something since I hadn't slept for that long maybe like 30 minutes.
I got up and went to get some clothes out of my bag. I was just going to go with something simple since I planned on going to watch a movie. Going to august room I knock and heard him yell for me to come in.
"I'm going to the movies if you want to go you can get ready. I'll be getting ready if you're looking for me" I said
"Okay imma go ain' shit else ta do"
"Alright" I said before walking out.
Going into the guest bathroom I washed up and put on my tights, a plain white Moschino crop top, and slid on my horizons.

I went downstairs to see August in similar clothing except the mens version : Gray and Black Joggers, Same Horizons, Plain White T-Shirt.
"So you tryna dress like me too huh" He said knocking me out of my thoughts
"Nah I ain even know you was finna' wear whatchu wear na" I said chuckling
"Great minds think alike"
"True. You ready?"
"Yeah. We drivin' in my car?" he asked
"Sure, I wanted to get something to eat after though since the last dinner didn't go so well. I still barely know you" I stated
"Alright we can do that"
With that being said we left out the house and hopped into his Hennessy venom gt.
"Damn its lit!" I said inspecting his car
I didn't know he drove the expensive ass car because when we were at dinner I ain't see no car that look like this.
"This my baybeh saved up a lot for it" he said
"Cool. Let's get to know each other on the way."
"Okay. So what you want to major in school when you go?"
"Uhh I wanted to do fashion and business"
"I went to school for business, I learned yeen even got to go to school for that you can get a few books about it and take a test on it to get your license. Save some money"
"Oh! that good to know! thank you so much!"
"No problem. Where you at on college money?"
"Uh now that my ex spent most of my college money I have to mainly start over"
There was silence for about 2 minutes until he said some.
"I wanna help. No isn't an option. I'm gonna help"
"I don't wanna put my problems on you so I can't do that August but thanks for your help" I sighed
"You won't be putting your problems on me if I offered"
"I'll sleep on it" I said as we pulled up to the movie theater
We walked up to the ticket booth as the lady asked what we wanted to watch. We chose to go into the Horror category. We decided on The Forest since it's supposedly a good movie and everywhere we go there's this damn ad.
"You gon' be scared?" He laughed
"Never"
We walked to the concession stand and he got popcorn and a Icee and I just got sour patch and fruit snacks and he talked me into sharing is Icee to 'Save Money'.
He also talked me into him paying for it to 'Save College Money'. I gave up, grabbing an extra straw we walked into our theater.
The movie started and we got comfortable.

1 Hour Later
"That was a good movie"
"Yea it was" he said "Where you wanna go eat at"
"I was thinkin' chillis" I said
"Alright"
"August thanks for this. You know the letting me stay at you home, Trying to help me get into school and all" I said as we walked to his car
"It's nothin' ma"
It was a comfortable silence on the way to our destination.
We got in and ordered our food. About 15-20 minutes later the food came.
"Wea' ya from?" August asked me
"New Orleans" I said simply
"Oh true me too"
"I know I can tell from your strong accent mine kind of faded" I chuckled
"Yea how long ya been down in Atl?"
"Since I was like 16 I'm 23 now, so 7 years"
"Oh coo I been hea' since I was 18 and I'm 23, so 5 years" He Mocked
"Ha Ha Ha" I laughed sarcastically
"What made you move down here" I asked
"I went to college down here. How about you?"
"Well when my dad got shot my mom wanted to get away from all the bad things"
"Sorry for ya lost I kno' how it feel" he sighed
Soon it got silent.
August POV
I can see a lot of sadness built up in la' mama. I wanted to help badly, I want her to feel what success feel like. That fuck boy that she was with took most of ha happiness away from her and I was gone find out who he was so I can take some happiness away from him.
Somethin' about Chantel make me feel like she belong with me, but I guess it's just a phase so I shook it off.
"You ready?" I asked
"Yeah" she said giving me that million dollar smile
"lets go" I said as I put the money on the table
I'm gone give chantel everything.
What going on me? Am I really falling for her? That would be lit I picture us a good coup- woah woah no I ain' no dater so like Imma chill
I do wanna go through this journey with her though.
