Chapter 2: Help

I watched out my window, tears in my eyes, waiting for Marie to show up. It took her so long but she finally showed up, but not alone. She showed up with our friends Jae, Pixie, Lilly, and my crush Daniel. They came to the door and were about to knock and I knew my Parents wouldn't want them walking through our messy house so I opened my window, and shouted out for them to climb up the ladder to my window, and they did so. First was Marie, because she does this a lot, then there was Daniel, then Jae, then Pixie, then Lilly.

We were all sitting on the floor and on my bed talking and that's when my parents came into my room. "Hey Izzy, Will you come out here for a second?" my mom asked me, with my dad's arm around her. I got out into the hallway, boxes all along the walls of the hallway. " Hun we don't want for you to be upset, and we aren't moving that far, you will still go to the same school, be able to hang out with your friends." said my mom, and I freaked out. I couldn't believe that I had all of my friends come over, thinking that I was moving super far away, when really we are just moving closer to my dad's work.

I went back into my room and kept on packing and everyone helped. I told all my friends that it was all just a misunderstanding and that I am really just moving a city away, and that I will still go to school with them and hopefully see them everyday, and that our new house, it has a pool. We got finished packing every last thing in my room and then we walked all the boxes down stairs, and took a break, a snack break.
