Surprise me!

Chapter 5: OMG OMG OMG

          I couldn't believe what my mom had just told me, I didn't know whether to hug her or to kiss her or to cry. so we just stood there, in the light of the car's headlights, not knowing whether to get into the car or stand there for longer. I ended up hugging her and yelling yay but I wasn't to excited about a new baby, I am 13, when I am 26 this baby will be 13, I just don't think I can handle a little sister or brother like that, I mean don't have a problem with kids, I LOVE kids but I just don't know if I really want a new little baby sister or brother. 

          I got a little bit more excited the more my parents talked to me about it. I got home and went to my room, I sat down in my comfy dorm chair and texted my friends, they were in disbelief but I had to remind them that my mom is only 33, She had me when she was 20. So she is still young enough to have a baby without getting sick or dying, so that is a plus. I think I can handle a baby Brother or sister now.

I can't believe that I, 13 year old me, is finally going to be a big sister, I mean i am the oldest out of all of my cousins, but I have never been a big sister. I remember every time my aunts got pregnant I wanted to be with them the whole time cause I Love Love Love kids! When my cousins were born I loved them so much, even when they spit up on me. But anyways, I really hope that when my mom has her baby it is the same way.

          So all I remember was falling asleep in my dorm chair watching youtube. I woke up in the morning to my mom calling me down to breakfast. I came down stairs and she told me that she had an ultrasound today and that since my dad was at work she wanted me with her. I said ok and finished my bowl or cheerios. We got dressed and then headed to the doctor, I looked at my moms stomach and she was wearing a tight shirt so we could see her little baby bump perfectly.
