Chapter 10 what happened to dan?

Dans pov

I ran, like theres no tomorrow, i ran like a manic maniac.
I never loved her, she tricked me liked i was tricked into her innocence. I decided to take a break behind a fountain, why was i rushing so much...?

I heard footstep behind me, i turned as if i was signalled to.

Phil panted in front of me, why did he chase after me, crying?

" dan, dont this " i rose to my feet and hugged him so tight.

"Do what phil" i question, still stood to the spot, entwined arms not showing any release.

"Get rid of her for me, stay with her, she is yours, im much too trouble" he stood so innocently looking at his awkward shuffling feet.

My mind went blank as soon as i heard that. I withdrawed from the hug blind with selfishness. Why doesnt he want me any more? But i dont love her, i know that now!
I wouldnt give up.

"Phil, i dont give 2 shits about her anymore, she fooled me shes a fooler. Your the only one for me please understand that. Get it in your head that i want nothing but you," i grasp his head in my hands, "phil, look how much this all means to me, for crying out loud im crying" i laugh hoping a laugh would spill from his lips.
.Nothing.

I hang my head and release my hands, i have given up, he just stands there as if i hadnt said a word to him. He stands there like nothing about us two matters.

I try one more time, but with a diffrent time.

I clasp his head yet again, pushing it on mine, our lips hovering over each others waiting for impact.

I wait his reponse, he responds with the firework impact we both were waiting for.

Cliché named what was us right now. Pulling apart i smile, knowing i had changed his mind back to being with me.

"Dan?" shit i turn and see my 'fiance'
