"I kinda like you y/n" Phil whispered. Dan's eyes grew with rage, but then softened into marshmallow eyes he realised everything he'd done in the past day. He yelled nervously for the nurse and asked if she could stay in the room when he explained something. I'm so confused right now, when did Phil start liking me? Why has Dan been really off with me lately?

"Look, y/n, there's a reason I've been a bit off lately, partly due to stress of YouTube but also there's the main reason... See I've been planning something for a long time, a long long time. Something big. Things haven't worked out the way they were supposed to so, ughhh why am I DOING this!-"

I interrupted," because you love me, don't you?" I questioned hoping for a certain answer.

Dan carries on," yes I do love you that's why I started saying in the first place!, anyway, I'm sorry I pushed you, I didn't mean to hurt you, if I did I WOULD OF handed myself in to the police," Dan glared at Phil in a 'you liar' way, "I felt so bad I stayed by your side all night until morning when Phil said he'd take over and I agreed. I needed to get some coffee to stay awake for you, then that's when I came in and HE was a trying to kiss you on the god DAMN CHEEK" Dan sat down, looking at me, waiting for me to respond, I did,

"What was so important that you were stressing over?" I asked hoping he wasn't cheating on me. That would kill me so much, so, so SO much

"This" Dan said, getting down on one knee by my hospital bed,

"will you marry me and be my Mrs Howell?"

He smiled nervously.

Omfg, this is amazing, I never suspected a thing. I gasp and release the word "yes!" From my mouth. "Oh my god yes yes YES!!!!!" Dan flings his arms around me and we cry. We hear a door close. Phil had left with the nurse. I heard sobbing from the corridor. I feel sorry for him, I mean, imagine you just told your crush you loved them and then 10 minutes later they get engaged with your best friend. I clamber slowly out of bed clutching onto my wound and use the wall as support to get myself out into the corridor. I see phil crying on the bench. When he sees me he instantly jumps up and wipes his tears away. " are you sure your ok to get out of bed, you better go and sit down. He grabbs my arm and steers me back to the bed and sits next to Dan on the couch. Dan staring at me in a soft flowing way looking happy and stress free. Phil starts talking to both of us," I really hope we can all be friends. I'm really sorry I said what I said and did what I did. Please can we be friends?" He looked so sad and hopeful that I said "yes, I'd don't want to lose friendship with anyone" I hugged phil and gave dan a kiss. Then the nurse walked in " ok then, y/n, your free to go home tommrow after a bit of rest." She smiled at us and walked out.

" can't wait until tommrow", dan said. "Same here!" Phil said back.

"Thanks guys, wait, what the hell are we gonna tell Emma?" I asked.

"Nothing"

"Good idea"

"She will kill me if she finds out"
