It's time to go home. I felt weary just by thinking about the things I have to do when I get home. I'm sure my dad would give me half of the company work again. Sometimes I wish I literally had a normal life. You know the one where you have a lot of problem the whole family solves. For example having a small house, having too many siblings, and having normal teenage problems like being popular.

Seriously, being popular is not important. Well, for me it isn't but apparently it is for others.

I mean, why spend your money on irrelevant things and what not when you can save it for something important. I don't get them, they want to have big houses, cars and other things they don't even need. I don't even use the car my dad gave me, I usually take the train and walk to school. It's pretty good exercise. I only use my cars for long trips or other miscellaneous activities.

My point is at least their family is complete and always together. Unlike me, my brothers are studying abroad and my mom is always on business trips and rarely comes home. Actually now that I think of it, she doesn't even come home anymore. She only comes home on occasions. See? They're so lucky but they don't even realize it.

While thinking of those things I reached home without even noticing. When I looked at the security camera by the gate, the gates quickly opened. Our butler, Jerry, opened the front door of the house and all of the maids formed two straight lines on each side of the carpet and greeted me. And then suddenly my dad appeared out of nowhere.

Here's a tip about my dad, he isn't the usual type of dad. His name is Xi Noah. He is 37 yrs old but looks like a person in his 20's. He is really childish in a way but is still quite strict. Weird, I know. If I described my parents it would be my mom is more like the father and my dad is more like the mother.

My dad looked really happy and that is unusual. I eyed him suspiciously as he said "Luhan! I have good news." Why do I feel like there's something I shouldn't be happy about? Maybe because last time he said he has good news something bad happened. "What is it this time?" I asked while keeping a straight face.

"Come on Lulu~ put on a smile for once." He said childishly. "Just tell me what it is." I said not bothering to change my expression. He pouted and finally said "You're no fun. Well anyway, your cousin is here."

"Who?" I asked looking annoyed. "It's Baekhyun, you know, the one that was always your playmate when you were little, remember? He's the same age as you." he said informingly. I paused for a bit to think. "Baekhyun? Oh you mean Baekkie? Yeah, I remember, he was the only one who laughed when I beat the crap out of the boy who cut my hair when I was little." I said remembering how I beat the kid who ruined my hair.

I really loved my hair when I was little. Then a boy I was playing with cut it short on the right side and left the other side long. I was furious at that time and since I was taking classes in different kinds of martial arts, I kicked his ass while Baekhyun just laughed at the kid and my hair.

"Is that so? I didn't know that." My dad said interrupting my thoughts. I looked at him and asked "Why's he here?" He smiled and said "He's here on a two month vacation. But he'll be going to school with you though." I frowned at the thought of him going with me to school.

So much will change.

"Why?" Dad just shrugged, not giving me any more information. I sighed deeply and asked once again "So, where is he anyway?"

My dad was about to say something but was interrupted by a loud shout. "Luhan!" I know exactly who that voice belongs to. I forced a smile and turned around. He ran towards me and then hugged me.

Baekhyun is kind of my childhood friend and is definitely my cousin. He always played with me when we were kids and he's kind of like my brother too. He has short brown hair. He is also really energetic. He's like a ray of sunshine that can brighten your mood. Complete opposite of me. We were separated when we were in 4th grade because he and Aunt Yoonhye went back to England. As far as I know, he is now a very talented ice skater.
