I am sorry that I have not loved you enough.
I am sorry I have been a bad daughter, I have not understood the tragedies in your eyes.
I am sorry I have blamed you, I have often been too young to understand.
I am sorry I haven't been there for you, you've always masked your pain so well.
I am sorry I have screamed at you, you do not deserve my harsh words.
I am sorry I have not understood your anger, I have not looked at what the world has done to you.
I am sorry you had to see your daughter go through hell and back. I am sorry your family left you behind and your brothers stopped talking to you after they got all the property. I am sorry you had to live away from your husband, never knowing whether they would come back home dead or alive.
I am sorry, mother.
But I will try to heal you. Because you are everything. You've always been everything. You are my everything.
I love you.
