Our lives are dis-functional , and we still don't know whether to believe the men, or not. As we stood in the midst of confusion, it was silent with a few whispers here and there, till we heard Acer coming towards us. "What's going on?" He asked. The man confronting us whispered a couple of things in his ear, then Acer looked extremely concerned. "Why- what- we would never Amaya.. and Nova. We are not here to hurt you." He said. "If you're not here to hurt us, why ask Amaya to be your girlfriend huh? That's just fucking weird, considering the fact that we just met, and not to mention we are, apparently the only females existing... " I blurted out, pissed indeed. Then continued, "and these men, constantly hitting on me, touching me, calling me things. I don't like it, neither does Amaya and that's not a good way to have a good impression on your self. It's creepy as hell, I don't know it you noticed." Thankfully Amaya continued my rant. "Exactly. Also, why do we keep falling asleep, and waking up, not knowing how, or when, or what just happened. It makes no sense, and it's scary. And if you swear to protect us, this shouldn't be happening." she said.

"Wait what?" Acer said, shocked. "you fall asleep, both of you, and not remember when you did?" He asked. "Yeah it's happen a few times already" Amaya said. He immediatley turned around furious and glared at this man, then i noticed who he was, it was... Vince, the guy i met last night. "My office. Now." Acer said to Vince, and they both walked out the hallway. On the way, he whispered something into another Man's ear, and stormed off.

The man walked up to us. "Acer has requested a meeting with you in 15 minutes, i'll be outside you door to escort you. By then, go have something to eat." He said. "What time is it at the moment?" I asked. " 19:23 " He said, smiled, then walked off. We woke up, and it was now 5pm? Neither Amaya or I were hungry so we just sat there waiting for 15 minutes to pass. At exactly, 19:38, there was knock at our door. We got up, and followed the clerk all the way to Acer's office. We were escorted in, and to our surprise it was huge. Bigger than a living room. It was well built, and looked very professional. We sat in the chairs in front of his desk, Vince was there too. He looked at me and smirked. My palms immediately became sweaty.

"Let me apologize. You two are right, it was utterly immodest for us to come at you from this angle. We feel poorly of our mistakes, and ask that you forgive us. We promise on our hearts and yours, we are only here to protect you both. It's just- we haven't seen such magnificent , and beautiful creatures in so long. It- we - I, just couldn't... Handle myself. But we are sorry, and we won't do anything till YOU are ready. We will not use you, nor manipulate you. We apologize." Acer said, stopped, looked over at Vince and cleared his throat. Vince spoke, " I am sorry, and take full responsibility for my actions. Now the reason you two keep having these hallucinations, mood swings and odd feelings is the first sign of radiation. Now where you are right now, does not provide real air. Neither of you are used to it, that's why everything seems so out of place. Now to prevent that you'll have to start- um- drugs. Nothing bad we promise, we just want you both to feel okay. This pill will be taken every morning, and will prevent radiation and make you immune to the air you breath. I know it's a big step, and neither of you know if you can trust us yet, that's why we'll do anything we can to gain your trust, but there's time. Being exposed to this kind of radiation will only get worse if it goes untreated, within a week, you'll be bed ridden."

I didn't know what to say. I didn't know if I should trust them, but what they said seemed very sincere. Besides if we're going to die here anyways, and maybe that pill can be a less painful way of death, or it can actually help us. I looked over at Amaya and he facial expression was blank.

"We'll give you two some time to discuss it." Vince said
