The Last Two

Chapter one

"Nova, I see something" i whispered to my sister who was trembling in fear. "W-what is it?" She asked. I didn't know what it was. It looked like some sort of light but i wasn't so sure. "A light" i whispered back. "Amaya. Please just get us out of here!" Nova pouted. I could see her blue eyes starring at me through the darkness. I held her hand. "We're okay. Do not worry. We will get out" i said. We crawled towards the light. Slowly it became larger. "This is our way out." I said with a little bit of energy. We both took a deep breath and put our hands through the light to see if it was a passage. Our hands went right through it. "Nova you go first" i said. She nodded and put her leg through the tiny hole. Then she was gone. "NOVA are you there?!" I yelled. I heard her small voice "yes Amaya come through." I put my legs in and immediately went thump onto the ground. I opened my eyes and saw a clear blue sky shining above me. "Amaya don't g-" Nova said just before i got up and hit my head on the clear glass.
"Ouchh" i whispered. "Amaya, where are we?" Nova questioned. "A glass cage..." I replied. We decided kicking around, our bodies scrunched up to fit the cage. "HELP!" We both yelled while still kicking on the glass. We yelled continuously, till someone had arrived. But it wasn't 'someone' , it was a group of people. Wearing black one piece track suits. Their faces were covered, besides their eyes. They had weapons tucked into their pockets and they were pointing guns at both of us. Nova squeezed my hand and starred at me with tears in her eyes. " where did you two come from?" The man standing in front of us asked. Where did we come from..? I couldn't remember a thing from where we had come from . I looked a nova, she shook her head. "I demand an answer." He said firmly. " i don't know sir." As soon as those words slipped my mouth all the men put their guns down except for him. "What are your names?" He questioned. "I'm nova" and "i'm Amaya" we both said. "The last two." He said to his men and then bent down to unlock the cage.

We all arrived in this large weaponry place, it had levels to it. Every inch of it was made of steel. We walked up the stairs and made it to a room, a large room. In fact, it looked like it didn't belong in this rusty old building. It looked like a room from a Hawaiian resort. "You will be staying here" The man said then walked off. Nova and I walked inside. It had beautiful gradient flooring , 2 curtained beds , a door for a washroom, a large walk in closet and a desk. "Oh my.." Nova said while scanning her hands over the furniture. We walked around the room over and over again admiring what ever we saw. After a couple of minutes we heard a buzz from a speaker in the wall and we heard a muffled voice "come down stairs".

After heading down stairs there was no one there but we could here noises coming from the room labeled "diner".
We walked inside to see maybe about 40 men, wearing normal clothes, with normal faces talking and eating. Someone grabbed my hand and pulled me away and i had no time to grab Nova so i ended up leaving her, in which she will take against me afterwards. I was pulled into a separate room. I looked in front of me and my heart became weak. A man, a bit over my height, buff. He had the most beautiful light brown eyes i could imagine, his hair brownish blonde, with on ear pierced. He smirked at me. "Hey Amaya." He said. Just then i recognized his deep voice. It was the man, the man who asked our names, and led us to our room. I cleared my throat not wanting to sound needy. "Do you recognize me?" He asked. I shook my head. He held out his hand for me to shake. "My name is Acer, i'm the head of this comity." He said. I shook his hand weakly and replied "why am i here, Acer" emphasizing his name. "I want to get to know you, Princess" he replied, he smiled. Princess?! Did he just call me princess... My heart was melting and my palms became sweaty. "How old are you?" He asked. "19" i replied softly. I wanted to know his age, hoping he wasn't too old for me. Wait.. What am i thinking? We have no chance. He's my leader. I can't.. " aw you're still a baby, i'm 22" he replied. What the hell? He's only 3 years older than me and apparently i'm still a baby. He saw how my cheeks were turning red and said, "i was just playing with you Princess." And there it is again. Princess? Everytime he said it , it felt like my blood was rushing faster than anything. "Are Nova and I the only females here?" I questioned. I knew it was a stupid question because he laughed at it. "Here? You and Amaya are the last two. The last two females to exist" he replied. My eyes widened. Wait.. That meant i had no mother ? "Where is my mother?"That was the only question running through my head. "She's gone." He replied. I could see his eyes soften. "You're safe" he said.

Haaayoo, sorry for any grammatical errors. For those of you who came here thinking it was just an adventure novel, what's an adventure novel without any ROMANCE?
