After stood in line for an hour waiting for our tickets and to weigh our luggage, we finally were able to drop off our luggage and have the weight of it off our shoulders.
"Do you want anything from the Starbucks?" Mom asked not even looking up from her phone.
"Yeah, my usual," I replied rolling my eyes at her.
She walked away, "Does she barely talk to you?" Kolby leaned over and asked.
"Yeah, she isn't my biggest fan," I replied while shifting in my seat.
"Why is that?" He questioned.
I huffed, "None of your damn business."
"Woah, somebody is cranky!" Kolby exclaimed.
"Somebody needs to shut up," I glared at him.
"You are not a happy person," He joked and took a sip from his juice box.
"Yeah, I'm not, I have my reasons to be. When you've been through what I have and have done what I did, you would not be a sunshine and rainbows type of person. I've learned a lot and prefer not getting my hopes just to be let down. So stick that in your juice box and suck it," I gritted through my teeth.
Kolby gave me a confused look and shook off what I said. We contuined to wait for our flight and while we were waiting Jake kept saying "Welcome to Texas!" to everyone who was getting off the plane, it was so entertaining watching their facial expressions.
"Delight threehunderedseventysix goading jow," came over the intercome.
"I think they meant, Flight 376 loading now," Jake laughed, and we all got up and stood in line to get on to the plane.
Our group was one of the first to get on plane. I sat on the very first row by the window, with Alex on my lap. Rexton wanted to sit in the first row too, so he sat by me in the middle seat with his iPad. Sabrina didn't want me to be in charge of her boys so she made Kolby sit next to Rexton.
"I want Kolby seat!" Rexton yelled loud enough for the people on the plane next to us to hear.
"Okay buddy," Kolby got up and switched him seats.
"Just the person I wanted to sit by," I mumered under my breath.
"Dude, I'm colorblind, not deaf," He smirked.
"You're colorblind?" I asked surprised.
He laughed, "Yeah, I can't see red, orange or yellow, they appear greener."
"That's freaky," I laughed with him.
The flight attendants went through this whole speech about how we're to put our phones on airplane mode, then we can take it off when the pilot says so over the intercom, there is wi-fi, we are to keep buckled until the light turns from red to green vice versa, keep your belongings out of the aisle, and do not kick the back of the person in front of you. Finally the flight attendants shut up and took their seats. I looked over at Kolby he was playing Rextons iPad with him.
"Little kid at heart?" I scoffed.
He rolled his eyes, "You know it."

About 4 hours later, the light turned red, so I buckled up and the ding from the light had woken Alex up, and his innocent eyes looked up at me. Rexton had gave his iPad back to Sabrina and was sitting on Kolby's lap. The flight attendants got back on the intercom and said we were landing any second. We had a bumpy landing and Rexton cackeled the whole time. The plane came to a full stop and our group gathered our belongings, and as we walked off the plane and made a game plan. First, we go drag our luggage, while Sunny goes to get our van. Then we put everything in the van and finally go to the hotel.
We had to take three elevators and a peculiar subway train to get to our luggage. It was pretty cramped on there, and when we got off we walked over to the baggage handling. Kamella and Zayden found their luggage right away and started chasing eachother around. I was still holding Alex so Kolby took my suitcase for me, while threw my duffle bag over my shoulder. We all walked away to the escalator.
"Thanks dude," I said.
"This is the one nice thing I will ever do for you," Kolby jokes.
Sunny went ahead to get the van checked out, and came back with a load of papers. I took my seat between Selene and Kolby. Kolby handed me my suitcase. Sunny looked up, after about ten minutes and had finished all the paperwork. We all gathered our belongings and started off to the car port. When we got there it was the first time we had stepped outside in about 6 hours. For it being 10pm, and pretty much dark it was really hot and kinda of muggy out. I guess I was expecting a full moon shining down, and soft breeze, but nope there was half a moon and hot air. We all stood there fanning ourselves until Jake brought the van to us. He parked it right in front of everyone and we started to load things into the van. It was a pretty big van, it sat 15 people and had tons of storage space. I helped Sabrina with the boys, I got Rexton and she got Alex. Sabrina didn't want to battle putting Rexton in a car seat so I said he could sit in my lap. I sat by a window so Rexton could see the city lights, with Kolby beside me. Finally we pulled out of that stupid airport and headed towards our hotel Hilton Lake Buena Vista.
A/N: The picture at the beginning of this chapter is what the inside of the plane looked like.
