Her Tidal Waves

Chapter 5

I woke up to the sound of an airplane flying over woke me up and I blinked my eyes a few times. 

"What time is it?" I whispered to myself.

I grabbed my phone from the night stand and looked at the time. 8:03. My mom was already dressed for her conference meeting and was on her computer. I grabbed my outfit for the day and went into the bathroom and changed. My eyes were tear stained from last night and my face was sticky from crying. I quickly washed my face and put on some makeup.

There was a knock on the door, it was Kamella, "My mom wanted me to tell you that we are going to meet at the space outside the elevators at 9:00."

"Thanks Kamella," I smiled and closed the door.

I grabbed my bag and went to leave, but my mom had to get something started, "When we get home I'm starting you in anger management classes."

"I don't need anger management classes, I need people like you to stop pissing me off," I left the room with that statement.

I went out into the meeting area and had a seat. 

I looked up from my phone. I heard screaming, laughing and little footsteps. Into the area comes Rexton and Selene was chasing him. He ran right to me and climbed in my lap. 

I laughed and Selene pointed her finger at him and said, "Next time you won't get away that easy!" Rexton stuck his tongue out at her.

Everybody else came to the area and we got into the elevator. Sabrina, Kolby, Selene, me and the boys took one. Then Dana, Amanda, Sunny, Jake, Kamella and Zayden took the other one. We all went out the front doors and it was beautiful out. It was the perfect temperature and the amount of clouds shielded the suns heat. We walked by the fountain and we decided to take a group picture. I grabbed Alex and Kolby stood by me. Selene put a timer on her camera and we all smiled. Then all the moms wanted a picture. 

By the end of the photo session Zayden said, "I don't think I will ever be able to smile again, my face hurts so bad," we all laughed.

We took a three minute walk to a crosswalk. The streets in this part of Florida are huge, like 6 lanes. We waited about a minute for the light to say we could walk. When we entered Disney Springs it was huge. The first store we went to was Tren-D. It was a boutique. They had so many clothes and accessories. I was still holding Alex and Rexton was with Selene , who was with me. The rest were somewhere in this store. 

"Oh Selene look at this!" I pulled off the rack, a black and white stripped sweater. 

"You should get that. It would look amazing on you!" Selene told me.

Well I listened to what Selene said and bought the sweater. As we all walked out we headed more north went into World Of Disney. Above where you walk in, was a humongous Stitch on the roof. Every few seconds it would "drool" water. When I walked under, it was the wrong time to do so. I soon as got under the Stitch it drooled right beside me. It scared me and Alex pretty bad. Kolby started laughing at me. Sabrina slapped him. And asked if I was okay.

I laughed, "It just scared me pretty badly."

"We could tell. You jumped like 10 feet in air," Kolby pointed out.

"Thank you, captain obvious. I didn't know that at all ," I sneered.

"Woah, nice comeback." He said sarcastically.

"I know. Thanks Captain Obvious," I joked. "Oh and by the way that's your new nickname."

"Great!" he said comically, while rolling his eyes.
