Judy X Nick

Chapter 5

(Judy's prov)

"I swear.... Where is he??!" I said pacing in my office the sun was setting and Nick hadn't come back since lunch. I was starting to worry, big time. "You know what, no. I will not put up with this. I'm going to go and search for him right now." I said going out of my office.

(Time skip)

After a while I still hadn't found Nick, it seemed pointless to keep searching but I couldn't give up. I had to keep searching for him. I walked around a corner into an alley.
There I saw an old rusty trailer that looked abandoned. I walked into it and found a trap door. I opened it slowly with a slow creek. I looked down, I could see a ladder and utter darkness. I grabbed my flashlight and went down.

(Time skip)

I finally reached the end. There was a corridor infront of me I slowly went that way. I then walked up to were there was a door and I slowly opened the door. There was no one in there. There were cages all around but all of them was empty. Would Nick be here? I thought. It seemed unlikely but I had to keep searching. At the back of the room there was another door. I opened it just a crack. I could see a cage with someone in it. I slowly walked up to the cage. "N-Nick?" I asked quietly. "Yes, I'm here. Is this.... Judy?" A fox inside the cage asked. "Yes! It's is!" I smiled in relief, finally, I found Nick. "Oh thank god, boy am I glad to see you Judy you have no idea what I've been though." Nick said clutching the bars of the cage. "Don't worry, I'll get you out of there." I said looking around for any way I could get him out. I walked over to a dusty window. Inside there was a room with a figure in it. I could see a key on the wall. I walked over to the cage. " i know where the key is, just wait there." I said. "Ok." Nick said nodding to me. I sneaked over to where the other door was. I hid behind a stack of boxes as a girl giraffe came in talking on the phone. "Yes,yes, i know. We have him. Don't worry.... He'll be all over us soon." She said walking out of the room. I then sneaked into the office. I saw a desk with papers all over, there was a picture of the giraffe and a boy elephant. Weird. I thought going over to where the key was. I grabbed the key off of the hook and ran back into the other room. I slowly turned the key in the lock and it opened. Nick ran out and then hugged me. "Thank you sooo much!" Nick said squeezing me tight. He then let go. "No problem but now we have to-" I stopped mid sentence as I felt a pain in my back my eyes rolled forward as I fell on the ground as all faded into black.

(Nick's prov)
"Judy!" I said stunned looking at the unconscious Bunny on the floor. I looked up. There was the giraffe holding a sleeping dart gun. "You really thought you could get away that easily...." She said walking up to me.
