Waking to the bus stop after her usual late routine with a waffle in her mouth as she struggled to keep the weight even between either side of her body. Her heavy binder and moderately lightweight lunchbox weighing down her left side, causing her to occasionally stumble to either side. She walked across the street and turned left as she made it at her dull bus stop, it was simply a small three-way intersection with piles of colorless, dead leaves and occasional disgusting bugs hiding in the grass. She jumped at the small Dauschand hounds yelping at her from the gated backyard but a few meters away from the bus stop, the backyard contained a white RV and some ridiculously prominent religious yard ornaments, she assumed were brightly colored. She continued walking eyeing the stumbling animals as she made it to her bus stop. Sitting a little to the right of the probably dead, weed-like tree that slouched above the sidewalk, it held black small fruit that she dared not to even touch, she sighed knowing that this is exactly where the bus lands after the bus driver eases the brakes down to a halt. A young woman named Vanessa walks down to the bus stop turning the corner to where she's visible to the girl named Caecus's line of sight. She stood a little farther to the right than Caecus, oddly enough she didn't start to complain this morning and was quiet all day, she must be in a bad mood. After the bus arrived at 9:00 (like everyday)Caecus was the first on and the last off every day. But today was different. Somehow Caecus could tell that something was going to change today, even if it was a small change— like a new toothbrush, or a new neighbor. Although her "sixth sense" is dull and usually isn't correct she knew today was special. After getting back from school at around 4:27PM Caecus walked home with even more useless papers in her stuffed briefcase-like binder, she always held it in her left hand in fear of pulling something in her right hand, especially after the Picc line that was recently removed from her small, thin arm. Opening the front door of her house Caecus was greeted with her dimwitted dog, Gino–the Miniature Pincher. He attempted to jump on her even though he was a third of her size. Ignoring the attention-seeking canine she threw her school supplies on the floor right beside the black end table and sauntered to her room mentally exhausted from her excruciatingly long, boring day at school. Drama was building up and she wanted nothing to do with it, Caecus never liked drama, it was pointless to her but without it she noticed that she lived a dull and uneventful life. She fell face first onto her bed not caring about manners and the fact that her long black skirt with slits in the side flew up as she did. Grumbling nonsense into her bed she sat on her bed tired-eyed. She took off her favorite combat boots tossing them next to her computer desk. She sighed. A kid called out her scars on the right side of her chest today and some on her arm. They were all from the wretched hospital in Minnesota, her birthplace. Slinking out her phone from her purse she held her right thumb on the home button it scanning and identifying her thumb-print, unlocking the phone. She opened tumblr and saw a peculiar sight outside of her phone, in the corner of her eye. It was a humanoid figure. Her seeing many horror movies, as this was her favorite genre of movie she froze and stared directly at it not moving her head. Only being able to see the figures lower half at the moment she squeaked and looked up at the mysterious figure she gulped and dropped her phone, (not caring whether or not her phone was cracked, she knew it wasn't, her phones throughout the years have been damn-near indestructible) and immediately regretted her decision. She stumbled backwards into her bed and looked at the unrecognizable figure in terror. She blinked and to her dismay it was gone. Not remembering the face or any specific details of this event at all she grabbed her phone and started to text her best friend, Thea on Skype.
"Oi, wassup homie? ;3" Caecus started, she noticed that Thea's Skype status was on Do Not Disturb, she knew that the Skype statuses were bullshit to her and only meant that some kid named Kevin would stop bothering her. She replied back with a seemingly depressed "nothin much u?" Frowning at her lack of usage of her grammatical skills Caecus replied back with "Nothing much, but I think there are demons in my house..." "... This creepy-ass black figure stood in front of me for like 6 seconds then vanished." She seemed shocked and replied with "oh well that's disturbing." "call?" She added, Caecus denied with a simple "no" sighing she quickly and texted back jokingly "I'll be right back. Gonna check the rest of the house for more demons. Lol"
With that Caecus stood up from her desk and groaned,
'I really don't want to put up with this bullshit right now' she thought.
Caecus thoroughly searched her empty house. She always had her phone with her for a reason unknown even to her, probably trust issues(most likely from all of those pokéballs that shake 3 times but the Pokémon escapes it anyways). She called her mom, I mean. She _does_ work from home. She should be here, she didn't notify her of her absence either it went to voicemail after 30 seconds. Caecus, getting nervous called her moms boyfriend. It rang until 30 seconds. "Hello this is Justin --- spea--" she hung up immediately and continued to call both of them sitting on their bed on the verge of tears. After half an hour her eyes started to water. Her worry for her beloved parent and probable step-parent rising. She started to cry and she pulled her knees to her chest. She felt tears run down her face but quickly pulled herself together after she realized what she was doing. She got up and sighed, sniffling, walking over to her room she stumbled on her beloved fluffy black cat, Jake or Jacob. Her friends always got onto her about naming her animals 'people names' "Sorry, Jakers! You wouldn't happen to know where everyone went, would you?" Caecus quickly responded, oddly enough asking her cat a question as if he was going to respond to her. He merely just looked up at her with his big yellow eyes tiredly. He blinked once then dropped his face slowly and continued sleeping on the hard, tile floor. She walked past him and into her slightly messy room. Caecus plopped herself onto her 'spinny chair' and moved her computer mouse around a little to wake up her computer. She re-typed her password and noticed a new icon on her desktop. She right-clicked it and had her malware software scan it, to make sure it wasn't a scan or a worm on her computer. It detected nothing and she opened it. The file was named 'BRBUS', it seemed oddly familiar. It activated a run window that said.

Caecus started to panic, many thoughts and consequences played through in her mind. She took her mind off of the computer monitor to cough into her elbow. In mid action she saw something in the corner of her eye, the disk tray was glowing blue; it only glows blue when something is in it. She continued her coughing and hastily popped it open the download stopped and she sighed relieved. It was a disk, it said BRBUS in what she assumed was a bright color with an abstract looking house silhouette behind the text. She closely studied the image, knowing she might need to later. Everything suddenly went black.
---------
Caecus woke up in a beautiful room. The walls were probably a dark color and the walls matched it with some lighter highlights mixed in. She felt different, looking down she noticed she wore an almost skin tight dress, made out of a comfortable silky fabric, it was a mermaid style dress that surprisingly fit well on her. It seemed to have a moon on the front, there was a loose collar around her neck attached to the dress, from the looks and the feel of the outfit she'd guess that it was based off of a royal servant garb or somewhere in that category. She noticed the room she was in looked very similar to hers with slight differences. Caecus found a window in the room and walked towards it. Looking out in amazement there were millions of buildings, each looked like a fantasy along with towers that were, based off of the distance and height from her perspective were the same height. She wandered outside (not realizing that she was flying) and looked down to see a few citizens. They seemed to be officers.
'Either they were in a very thick shade it their skin was pitch black.' She thought to herself giggling.
----------
She sat straight up in a cold sweat on the floor. Judging by her position and her chair. She fell off of it. She got up and examined her surroundings, she was back in her room, she looked at her clothing to see that she was still wearing her favorite constellation sweater, pleated skirt, and tights. Sighing at the lost experience she almost looked back at her computer but was interrupted; she staggered and lost her balance, suddenly felt the ground shake and rumble.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" She wailed
"THIS IS FLORIDA, FLORIDA DOESN'T HAVE EARTHQUAKES LAST TIME I CHECKED!!" She looked out her nearest window to see the sky bathed in a red background with what looked like meteors falling from the sky.
'Look at your computer'
She instinctively turned towards it a shocked expression read her face.

Another pop-up window accompanied it without her pressing any buttons other keyboard, as the other one closed itself. Oddly enough the new pop-up window didn't have an exit, minimize, or hide button and it took up all of the space on the monitor. As it faded in an image appeared. It looked like it was computer generated by a small child but she disregarded that thought. She was too censored about the apocalypse in the background.Meteors whistled as they entered Earth's atmosphere as if they were missiles. They crashed loudly and without hardly any warning, the loud crash and bloodcurdling screams that were heard from outside made Caecus feel uneasy. Her stomach started to turn as she continued to silently pray that she wouldn't be the next victim of this unthinkable apocalypse. She tightly closed her eyes and hoped for the best.
'Thea please come out of this alive with me.'
'Mom let me see you one last time before I'm crushed by a meteor'
'Justin I'm sorry I never got to know you better' Caecus opened one eye for it to be immediately closed.
----
She awoke back in the dark colored room with the same medieval garb on she rushed back to the window to try to continue where she left off. As if 10 seconds ago never happened she sprang out of the window to seen no one.
"I'll just look around, it's good to know your surroundings." She whispered to herself stumbling and messing up on words sometimes.
She walked down the sidewalk until she was met with a castle where a woman in a jester's garb sat. She also had pitch black skin like the civilians from earlier. She wore a frightening smile and a beautiful ring with 4 pearls on it, it didn't appeal much to Caecus though, she declared it 'too flashy and big' for her tastes.
Caecus approached the woman without caution or fear but not cockiness or rudeness. The woman gave off a powerful aura and her all-white eyes stared into Caecus's soul.
