Zayn's Pov:
You don't realize it but you actually take so much for granted, Before my c-section I didn't think anything of running up and down the stairs, Or lifting things up, However for the past six weeks I haven't been able to do any of that, I haven't been able to run up and down the stairs when Jake is crying, I haven't been able to place him in his car seat then lift it up, I've had to be extra careful when sitting down and getting back up. I'm now fully healed so I've been able to do so much more for him, Today I would be taking Jake to school so we could pick up Niall.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared, Things with Niall and I didn't exactly start out well, I honestly never thought he'd admit to being Jake's father, But when you see him with Jake you honestly do see how much he cares. He wants to be there and be the best possible father he can be, I never thought he would change, I didn't think he could, But I was wrong and I'll admit to that, Honestly I wouldn't wanna be do this without Niall.
"Hey Zi, Jake's had his feed and I've burped him, He's got fresh nappies and bottles in his bag and some babywipes to, I also placed a spare dummy in the bag just incase he loses his one" Donyia stated as she walked into the living room with Jake in her arms.
"Thanks Don, Hey Jakey you ready to see daddy Niall today?" I said playfully while tickling him, He giggled.
"He really going to do this?" Donyia asked as I grabbed the car seat.
"Yeah, He said he wants to" I replied.
"Wow" Donyia exclaimed, I gave her a confused look. "It's just mad how things have changed between you guys, Only nine months ago you were crying on my shoulder because you had slept with him, Then you was dead set against even telling him about Jake, And now it's as if none of that happened" Donyia said.
"I know, But the way he is around Jake is exactly what he needs, He really opens up and makes me believe he wants to be a better person, He's done everything I've asked him to Don, He even looked after Jake when I went to have my stitches removed, He's changed Don, And he's become the perfect father" I exclaimed as I took Jake from her arms, I then placed him in his car seat before strapping him in, I then gently placed his dummy in his mouth before pulling on his hat that Niall brought him.
"I just don't want you and Jake getting hurt" Donyia whispered, I nodded my head before placing my hand on her shoulder.
"If you don't trust him then trust me, I wouldn't let him near Jake if I had any doubts" I stated, She nodded.
"I just hope he dosen't let either of you down that's all"
Donyia's words echoed in my ears as I drove to school, She's my sister and she's only looking out for me but I'm choosing to trust Niall right now, The words he spoke to Jake touched my heart, I just hope he dosen't coware away with his friends around. I waited inside the car with Jake until school came to an end, When it did I stood with the car door open waiting for Niall to walk out, I smiled as I watched Jake sleeping soundly. The second school came to an end I watched closely as Niall walked out the school building, My heart began pounding, People were staring at me but I ignored them keeping my eyes only on Niall, I smiled as his eyes landed on mine, He returned the smile before making his way towards me, The moment he reached me he pulled me into a tight hug, I exhaled before hugging him back, People watched on in utter shock as Niall placed a gentle kiss to my neck.
"How's my boys?" Niall asked, I smiled.
"There good" I whispered, Niall chuckled before moving so he could take a look at Jake, He placed a soft kiss to Jake's forehead, Gasps could be heard leaving peoples lips.
"Niall is he yours?" A girl asked, Niall nodded his head proudly.
"He's mine and Zayn's yeah" Niall stated, I smiled as Niall linked our fingers together.
"Your joking right?!" Matt's voice sounded in my eyes, I rolled my eyes before turning around to look at him.
"No I'm not you got a problem with it?" Niall stated.
"You fucked that freak!" Matt chocked out.
"He's not a freak" Niall spat.
"He got fucking pregnant he's a freak and so is that kid" Matt yelled.
"If you actually had a brain in that thick skull of yours you would know male pregnancies can exist, Yeah they are rare but they happen, Why not sit there and educate yourself, Oh and another thing, If you ever speak about my boyfriend or my son like that ever again I swear your dead!" Niall stated, A small smile spread across my lips, He defended us, I quickly slipped my fingers in with Niall's.
"Come on let's go" I whispered into his ear, Niall nodded.
"If anybody else has a problem with this you can all go fuc-" I slapped Niall on the chest giving him a don't even think of swearing infront of Jake look. "You can go f-u-c-k yourselves" Niall finished off, I laughed. "You ready to take our boy home?" Niall asked, I nodded my head before turning around and climbing into the car, Niall followed closely behind me before shutting the door closed, I then pulled out the school car park, Niall leaned behind us to make sure Jake was ok he then laced our fingers together.
"You think he's proud of me?" Niall questioned, I nodded my head before smiling at him.
"We both are" I stated, I couldn't help but smile as fireworks exploded inside of me, Niall did it, He actually did it.
