The bell rang indicating it was time for lunch. I ran up to Sammy, who had class with me, and looped my arm around hers. We walked towards the cafeteria, talking about what Nick has planned for their anniversary. Aria joined us after a few minutes. "So you guys know that James is coming back, right ?" She asked us excitedly.

Sammy rolled her eyes. "Of course we know Aria, I even bet that he called Kylie and told her, before she saw the post."

I blushed. "Actually he sent me a text telling me to look at the post and then I called him," I mumbled.

"Oooh girl! You better tell us everything!" We laughed at Aria's fake ghetto accent.

I told them everything, from the text to the call. By the time I finished we were already at the cafeteria. "You guys are so lucky to have amazing boyfriends. I need to get one, and pronto!" Aria exclaimed, as we made our way to the lunch line.

"Don't worry you're gorgeous, I'm sure you'll find someone," I assured her.

"I hope so, I mean, prom is coming up soon and I will NOT go with out a date," Aria exaggerated.

"Prom is a year and a half away, calm down, I'm sure you'll find an unlucky guy to date by that time," Sammy said, while picking up a lunch tray.

"Hey!"

I chuckled and picked a random tray, we walked towards a table where Nick was already sitting. I'll eat some of the food and then I'll make up an excuse and barf it up in the bathroom, like I always do. I wasn't always so self conscious about my weight but ever since that those jeans at Hollister didn't fit last year, it made me realize I was on the pudgy side, and it was my personal goal to not only make sure those jeans fit but to make sure to go down one size. Towards the end of last year, I reached that goal, but I didn't just go down one size I went down four, I was now a size zero, and proud of it. I plan to keep it that way, no matter what the cost is.

I didn't want to have another flaw that Alex could use against me.

"Look what the trash brought in, guys." Speak of the devil and he shall appear.

Alex was right behind us with his group of followers snickering along with him, by now everyone stopped what they were doing to look at the scene that was unfolding in front of them. I stood up and faced him, anger boiling up inside of me. "Oh I bet you spent all night thinking of that one," I sassed back, causing the smirk to wipe off his face and his eyes to narrow.

"You little-"

"Don't you dare say anything to her, you son of a bitch," Sammy growled, interrupting Alex in mid sentence.

"In fact, why don't you just leave no one wants you here any ways," Aria added, sending Alex a death glare. I am so grateful to have the friends that I have, they know about Alex's taunting, but they don't know about his beatings that he gives me practically everyday.

But Alex didn't look mad at all, he looked amused. "Wow, whore number one and whore number two are actually saying something, that's a first," Alex sneered causing people to snicker.

Before any of us could say anything, Nick jumped to his feat. "Did you just call my girlfriend a whore?" Nick asked, his face red with anger.

"Yes,"

"Yes?!"

"Did I stutter?"(NA: if u kno what movie that line is from then I love you!!)

Nick grabbed Alex by the collar and slammed him against the wall. "Nick let him go!" I pleaded, Sammy and Aria just stood there shocked. Nick was never a one to use violence and I won't get him in trouble because of me.

"No Kylie! He treats you like crap and I won't just sit here and watch him insult Sammy, Aria, and you,"

"And what exactly are you going to do about it huh?" Alex asked, with an eyebrow raised.

"I'm going to beat the-"

"You and I both know that you won't do shit Calloway. You can't risked getting kicked of the football team because that's the only way you can get into college, or am I wrong?" Alex smirked as Nick'a face turned a deeper shade of red.

Reluctantly, Nick let go of Alex and stormed out of the cafeteria, Sammy trailing after him.

Alex stood up and took a good look at my tray of untouched food. "Are really going to finish all that Evans? I mean, it's not like you need it all those extra calories, if you know what I mean,"

I flinched, he just called me fat. That did it. My blood boiled and I grabbed the milk carton that was on the tray, I dumped the contents on his head, ruining his hair that he probably spent hours perfecting and his expensive leather jacket. I threw the empty carton at him. "Don't call me Evans," I hissed and ran out the cafeteria, leaving everyone including Alex and Aria shocked.

Oh my god, what did I do ? What was I thinking ? The problem was that I wasn't thinking and now Alex will surely kill me. It's not like he hasn't hit me before. Tears were already streaming down my face by the time a made it to the bathroom. I rushed to a stall and locked it, that's when I fell to the floor sobbing my heart out.

Why did everything always happened to me? After he was sent to jail I thought that everything was going to get better. But no, my best friend turned on me and my boyfriend left me alone, not that I did anything to stop him.

Still sobbing, I kneeled in front of the toilet and shoved my finger down my throat. I felt the familiar sensation of food rushing up my throat after a few air heaves and I threw up everything, that I ate today, which wasn't much.

I finished and before I did anything I heard the door open. "Kylie are you in here ?" A familiar voice asked.
