Chapter 11

Scorpius Malfoy

Everywhere spells, hexes and curse were being flown. I quickly managed to dodge a spell that rebounded off the wall. It hit the Death Eater who had casted it in the first place. He had killed him himself.

I saw Rose struggling to take down a Death Eater so I quickly shot a spell at him and he was sent flying away.

"Thanks." Rose panted.

"No problem." I said.

"Listen, someones trying to destroy the Library. I think it's Rachel, Marcus and Reece. McGonagall needs back up. We need to go and help." Rose said.

"Ok lets go." I replied and we sprinted to the Library.

I could hear shouts coming from the end of the corridor. I quickly grabbed Rose by the waist and pulled her back making sure we didn't burst in and get killed. With our wands at the ready and some other students behind us, we burst in and started duelling with the people inside.

Rachel did put up a fight. She managed to avoid every spell I sent her way but James snuck up behind and dealt with her.

"Did you manage to get the curse off of Emmelie?" Rose shouted.

"Yes! She doesn't remember anything." Fred gasped.

"Where is she now?" I asked.

"She's with Ruby and Milla. They're fighting in the Great Hall." James explained.

"Rose! We need your help on the third floor!" Dominique Weasley yelled.

"Listen, I'll go help in the Great Hall." I said.

"Ok stay safe. I love you." Rose replied.

"I love you too." I said and quickly cupped my hands to Rose's cheeks and kissed her. We then ran off in different directions.

I ran to the Great Hall and was immediately hit by a spell that sent my flying to the ground. My eyes fluttered until my vision went black.

"Scorpius? Scorpius! Can you hear me?" A voice was calling and someone was shaking me.

My eyes opened to see Blake, Jamie and Damien crowded round me.

"Are you alright mate?" Jamie asked as I sat up.

"What happened?" I asked.

"You were knocked out by a spell over 2 hours ago." Damien said.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"About 2am. Good news though! The fighting's over. Rachel, Marcus and Reece were captured and arrested. And nobody on our side died. Looks like the Liquid Luck came in handy." Blake said.

"Yeah. Where's Rose?" I asked.

"Oh she's out by the lake. Said she wanted some time alone." Damien said.

I got up and went to go find her. After walking a way, I saw a figure looking out towards the lake. I knew immediatley it was Rose. The moon shining brightly in the distance. I sat down next to her and wrapped my arms around her waist kissing her cheek.

"Oh you're awake!" She smiled.

"Yeah I'm fine. Although my head hurts a bit." I rubbed my head.

"Get Madam Pomfrey to have a look. She'll probably have something." Rose said.

"Will do. I heard about Rachel, Marcus and Reece." I sighed.

"Yeah I know. Well, at least they are locked up. No doubt they won't be getting out any time soon." Rose sighed.

"It's for the best. They won't bother us anymore." I smiled.

"You're right." Rose laughed.

"I think we should head back." I said taking her hand.

"Ok." Rose smiled and we walked back hand in hand.

We reached the Great Hall to find everyone in brighter spirits. Many people were chatting and laughing with other people. It felt so good to see everyone happy again. With what had been happening recently, it was nice to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.

Rose told me she was going over to her parents. I watched her skip up to her mother and give her a hug. I went to find my mum and dad and saw my sister Adrianna.

"Scorpius! Oh thank god you're alright." My mum pulled me into a tight hug.

"I'm fine mum get off." I rolled my eyes.

"We heard you were knocked unconscious. Your mothers just worried about you." Dad said.

"I'm 16 not 5. I can take care of myself!" I stated.

"Alright little bro?" Adrianna grinned and pulled me into a hug.

"I guess you had the baby?" I asked as I sat down.

"Yeah last week. I heard what was going on here so I decided to wait." Adrianna replied.

"Was it a boy or a girl?"

"A girl. We named her Sophia. Sophia Louise Robertson." She smiled.

"That's lovely." I smiled back.

Being called an Uncle was going to make me feel old. Jeez.

"Anyway! I heard that you've got the hots for Rose Weasley!" Adrianna smirked at me and looking in the direction of Rose.

"Rose Weasley? Ron Weasley's daughter?" Dad asked.

"Yeah. He's had a thing for her since first year according to his friends!" Adrianna laughed.

Pretty sure that was Blake who said that.

"You know I'm actually going out with her?" I said just getting straight to the point.

"Yeah we know." Mum shrugged.

"Wait. Who told you?" I asked.

"Oh your friends. I asked them and they said yes." Dad smiled.

I looked over and smiled at Rose. It looked like she had told her parents because both her parents seemed to smile at me.

At least her Dad isn't giving me cold hard stares.

The friction between the two families seemed to slip away at that moment.

But was it going to stay like that?

This is such a rubbish chapter sorry guys :/

I wanted to add a bit of drama in so this is kind of a filler chapter.

There's still a lot more to write so this story isn't over just yet ;)
