He must have seen the confusion and shock on my face because the next thing I knew he said, "No name? Well, I guess all of this work wasn't for nothing after all." His eyes gleamed with the madness that he kept so neatly inside. I decided then and there that I wouldn't be the lab rat of this experiment. My expression turned from shock to anger to calm.
On the inside I wanted to to throttle this man for taking my memory away, I couldn't show that though. If he thought I wasn't confused he would probably tighten my restraints. "What did you do to me?" My voice was shaking with anger, I hoped he thought it was fear. "Oh, me? Nothing at all, I can't speak for my accomplices though." He gave me a smug grin and I had the urge to smack him as hard as I could.
My vision was tinted with red and the next thing I knew, I was out of the restraints and the man was on the floor. I stared at my hands as they went from being furry and animal-like back to being my hands. "What just happened to me?" I tried to make sense of what just happened when I got a splitting headache. "The man had a faint smile on his lips as he said at barely a whisper "Make us proud Alex, make us prou..." His words were cut off by me kicking him. "The only thing I'm doing is staying away from you and your "accomplices."
I walked out of the room and fled the facility, strange... It was almost as if I knew the place.
