Chapter 25

I'm basically done with this book tbh. So this will be the last chapter.

After a few weeks of that creepily happy Doctor taking care of me I got out. We happily got back to the mansion and I couldn't be happier to be free.
It's now been about 5 months since the incident but I couldn't be happier.
Most people would see that incident as a bad thing. But it's a good thing.
Apart from the overly protective LJ, everything has been more relaxed.

I'm gonna do it. Finally.
I can't hold back anymore.
I make sure the rose petals are the perfect shape and go to fetch her. She's sitting in the bed facing a window, and I come back behind her and hold her. She jumps.
"Jack what are you doing?" She squeals as I pick her up and hug her.
"Sorry I was gone so long, love." I say, nuzzling my face in her neck. She just laughs.
"It's ok." I set her on the ground as she says that and I take her hand. Shushing her when she asks where we are going. Eventually we end up in the forest a couple miles away from the mansion, me having to carry her cute butt most of the distance.
The second we get to the clearing, her eyes become glossy and she covers her mouth. I pull her further out and all the candles light. She looks around and while she's distracted I get on one knee.
"Y/N.. since the first time I've laid eyes on you; you've been the caramel to my apple, and the candy to my cane. You make my life so much sweeter. I love you so much." I take a deep breath and pull out a small ring box.

Jack pulls out a velvet white ring box, wrapped with red ribbon. I giggle at the resemblance to a candycane.
"Will you marry me?" He asks, looking nervous and like he will cry if I say no. I nod shyly, tears dripping down my face.
"Yes jack. I will"
He stands up and grips me around the waist, lifting me up and twirling me.
Every one comes out of the treeline, dressed in suits, clapping.
Jack puts me on my feet and I look at him curiously.
"Why are they all dressed up?"
Sally comes up almost directly after I ask that, with a white dress.
"Well..." jack starts. "What a better time to get married then now?"
I playfully glare at him. Then the ladies of the house pull me away to torture me for hours. Eventually finished, and off to the Isle I'm pulled. Thrown into a marriage I couldn't have ever prepared for. But I couldn't be happier.
