Chapter 13

Katelyn's pov:
I woke up and remembered that today was the pool party. I loved to swim, so I was actually excited. I headed downstairs for breakfast. Zoey was in the kitchen making waffles and Aphmau walked downstairs right when I sat down.
"Hey! Are you guys excited for the pool party?" asked Aphmau sounding super enthusiastic.
Wow, could she be any more cheery in the mornings?  I wondered.
"I'm happy to see everyone and hang out." Zoey said, bringing a plate of waffles for all of us.
Mmmm so good, I thought.
"Yeah I'm actually kinda sorta excited." I admitted.
"This is gonna be awesome!" Cheered Aphmau. I was starting to regret this.
  After breakfast I went upstairs to meditate and get ready. I was going to try to not get angry and punch anyone, even Travis. After meditating and doing a little exercise, it was almost time for the party to start.
  I pulled out my bathing suit. It was a  light blue bikini with cute tied white bows and white lace. Yes, I can be girly when I want. I pulled it on and put a sundress on over it. I grabbed my goggles and headed downstairs.
  Just then, the doorbell rang. I opened the door to Garroth, Laurance, Dante, and Travis. They stared at me for a second and then recovered. Was it really that much of a shock that I was wearing a dress? Seriously?
"Hello Katelyn." They all said. Travis was eyeing me and I really wanted to punch him. Instead, I led them out back to the pool. Zoey and Aphmau were already there finishing setting up. The boys all greeted them and went to the chairs to play rock, paper, scissors. Wow.
"I'll go stand by the door." said Aphmau, walking in. Zoey had just started the hotdogs, so I set up the table and chairs. Zane and Aaron came out next. They joined the other boys who were now arguing over football teams. Ugh boys. I thought, rolling my eyes. Jeffory, Vlayd, and Nicole came out next, followed by Lucinda and Cadenza. I was pretty sure that was everyone that was coming. Aphmau walked out and joined us.
"Hotdogs are ready! " Aphmau called out and everyone came over for the food. We sat around and ate. Finally, it was time to go swimming. All the girls took off their dresses and some of the boys took off their shirts.
"This is gonna be fun!" Cheered Travis. We all jumped in and starting splashing each other. "I'm gonna get you!" Teased Jeffory,  chasing me around. "Not if I get you first!" I yelled back. This was actually fun! I realized.
