Chapter 4

Katelyn's pov:
As soon as I set my present for Garroth down I spotted Jeffory over by himself. Aphmau walked to the kitchen with Garroth so I slipped away.
"Hi Katelyn." Jeffory said smiling. "Hi Jeffory." I replied, blushing slightly. I have a small crush on him, but I never told anyone. "I texted you earlier but you never responded." He said. That was strange, I always check my phone. I pulled it out of my pocket. "Wh what?! This is Lucida's phone!" I said in suprise. "Let's go talk to her." Jeffory said. I looked around and saw that she was with Cadenza and Aphmau giggling about something. I stormed over to them. "H-hi Katelyn," Said Lucinda. She was holding my phone. "WHY DO YOU HAVE MY PHONE?!!" I asked angrily. "Sorry." Cadenza said. "I had no part in this." Aphmau quickly added. "We found some interesting stuff on it." said Lucinda smirking. Could they have, no it wasn't possible, was it? I could feel my anger start to boil and I was ready to crush them into pieces, but then Jeffory placed a calming hand on my shoulder. I took a deep breath and my anger slowly abated. "May we speak with you in private?" Lucinda asked.
