Chapter 14

Zoey's pov:
We all swam around for a bit, getting used to being back in a pool. I was so happy. I love swimming!
"Okay, so let's play some games! First, Marco Polo and I will be it." Aphmau called out.
Aphmau was at the shallow end of the pool, so I swam to the deep end with everyone else.
"Marco!" She called.
"Polo!" We all called back.
We played pool games for at least an hour. It was super fun! We finally all sat with our legs in the water, resting.
"I'm going to go grab the cookies." Aphmau said. "I'll help." Aaron said, and they walked inside together. They were so cute together! #Aarmau
They came back a minute later each carrying a plate of cookies. We all got up and took some. They were chocolate chip, my favorite. Yummy. I thought. After we ate, we all just hung around and talked. I somehow ended up in a conversation with Zane. He was actually really nice once you got past his tough exterior. As we talked, I noticed that pretty much everyone was talking in groups of two. Aphmau was with Aaron, Garroth was with Cadenza, Laurance was with Lucinda, Nicole was with Dante, and Katelyn was with Jeffory. Travis stood by himself texting someone. I pointed this out to Zane, and he just smiled.
