Part 19 ~ The Cage

Chris's POV

  By the time we reach the salvage yard I am dog tired. I look at the old house and sigh. "What am I gonna say to Dean?" I ask myself as I reach down into the floor board and pick up my cell phone. I open it and instantly see his face as my wallpaper and a tear drops from my eye and I let out a sigh. As I look and see all the missed calls and txt messages from my brother and Dawn. I open her last txt and as I read it tears come to my eyes, "Dude, I love you very much. Cass has told me everything and I am sorry that you were born into this. I have faith that you will be fine but please be careful and stay alive. Love you, Dawn." I close my phone and leave it in the seat as I climb out and head up to Berjhawn waiting on the front steps.


As I reach her she wraps her arms around me and says, "Deans inside sweetie why don't we by pass him and fly up to your room." I nod and close my eyes; when I open them I am in a room filled with pictures of Berjhawn with two other women an older brunette and a younger blonde. "That's Ellen and Joe, my family." I hear her say as a tears come to her eyes. "I'm sorry Berjhawn." She shrugs her shoulders and says, "Its okay, the beauty of being a half angel is we can visit heaven. I go to see them often." I look at her and say, "You mean I can visit Jess anytime I want too." She nods and I smile. "I'm gonna go check on Bobby, I'll introduce the two of you later." I nod as she turns and leaves. I walk over to the bed and lie down and try to sleep, but sleep doesn't come. Hours pass and I look out the window to see the sun start to rise.


I sit up and let out a heavy sigh when Berjhawn walks through the door. "Hey Deans already left come downstairs I want you to meet Bobby." I nod and reluctantly walk down stairs to see Douglas talking with a burly looking older man. "So this is Chris?" He says when he sees me. I nod and he looks at Douglas and says, "You weren't kiddin, she does look identical to Miss bossy over there." 

"I heard that Bobby." I hear Berjhawn say and I smile. "Chris, this is my father Bobby." Douglas says and I shake hands with him and smile. "Chris?" I turn to see my uncle Cass standing a few feet away.

I run over to him and wrap my arms around him tears streaming from my eyes. "You were right, I should've listened to you when you warned me about Dean." He holds me tight as he says, "I am sorry. What are you doing here though?" I pull away and say, "Somehow I am going to stop them from fighting and convince Lucifer to release Sam." Cass stare at me his blue eyes burning into my soul. "Chris you can't stop them." I look down and say, "I know but I can still try." I look back up as he says, "Then I will buy you and Dean some time." I let out a heavy sigh as I say, "Okay, thank you." He nods and then walks over to Bobby and says, "Bobby and I will go first, you three wait for about a minute then follow." I nod and he disappears holding a bottle I hadn't noticed before.


I look at Berjhawn and she smiles as she says, "I have a feeling everything will work out." I silently pray and then close my eyes and we appear at a cemetery just as Cass Molotov's my father. "Uncle Cass, What the Hell?" Dean turns to me and says, "Chris?" I don't look at him as I near my uncle. "Did you just Molotov my brother with holy oil?" I hear Sam say and right as I turn to face him he snaps his fingers exploding my uncles' body; blood and chunks of his body cover me and I freeze tears forming in my eyes as I fall to my knees.


The next thing I know Bobby falls beside me his neck broken. I look up at Sam and am about to say something when Dean says something I can't hear and Sam starts attacking him punching him over and over again. I watch frozen in fear as I try to move. I look back over to Bobby to see Douglas and Berjhawn holding him and crying. I turn back to see Sam pull his fist back and then freeze. I watch as Sam takes control of his body and throws the metal on the ground and says the same thing Dean said before and the hole reopens. Sammy looks at me then at Dean and nods, He lifts his arms up and starts to fall backwards when my father comes out of nowhere and grabs his jacket trying to save him and I rush forward and trying to save my father I am pulled down into the hole with them. The last thing I hear is Dean scream out my name then darkness surrounds me.


When I awake my father is kneeling beside me, his true form looking down at me. I gaze at him in admiration as he says, "Chris, why did you come here?" 

"I couldn't stand the thought of losing you again, I guess I made a pretty stupid move." I hear a noise and I turn to see Sam's body a few feet away groaning painfully. "Sammy!" I say as make my way over to him.

When I reach him I reach up and cup his face in my hand and say, "Sammy can you hear me? Are you okay?" he opens his eyes and says, "Chris? What are you doing here?" I hug him then pull back saying, "I did something stupid and tried to save my dad and got pulled down here." He sits up and rubs his head. "Chris, you should have stayed with Dawn and Georgie." I hear my father say and I roll my eyes, "There is a lot of things I should have done, for one not have given myself to Dean; and second not jumping into Satan's cage." Sam looks at me and says, "Speaking of Satan where is he?" 

"He is nearby waiting to attack me. I will try my hardest to keep you five safe."

I nod then turn back to him and say, "Huh five?" he quickly looks away and I look down at my stomach and say, "No, there's no way. I'm not pregnant!" Tears start to pour from my eyes and Sam wraps his arms around me and pulls me close to him. "Sam?" I look by Sam and see the vessel my father was using walking toward us. "Adam," Sam says and pulling me to my feet walks over and embraces his little brother. I hold my stomach and let out a sigh of relief that I am not having triplets. "Chris are you okay?" I hear my father say and I shrug my shoulders, "How can I be? I'm having the children of a man that doesn't even love me; and on top of that they are going to be born and raised here!"


"Your children are going to be born soon, time passes much faster here then on earth." I throw my hands up and say, "Great, just great!" 

"What's wrong Chris?" Sam says as he walks up behind me. 

"Not only has my father informed me that I am pregnant but he has also informed me that I will give birth really soon, because time passes at an accelerated rate down here." Sam pulls me into a hug and says, "I'll take care of you and your babies." I hug him back as tears fall from my eyes. "I'll help too." I hear Adam say and I smile. "You don't even know me and you're still willing to help me?" He nods and I pull away from Sam and wrap my arms around Adam's neck. "Thank you Adam."

Time passes quickly and my stomach grows. I start to hear my children talk to each other in my stomach. I rub my belly and then a sudden pain envelopes me. I let out a blood curdling scream and Adam and Sam come running. I lie down and look back and forth between the two brothers as they hold my hands and my father waits for the babies to reveal themselves.

"This is so awkward!" I scream out as I push. Sam laughs and I stare lasers at him, "It's not funny Sam!" after a few moments my children are born and my father informs me they are boys. "What are you gonna name them Chris?" I smile at Adam as he hands one of them to me. I look down and smile as I say, "I will name him Gabriel John; Gabriel after my uncle and John after yours and Sam's father." Adam smiles as he takes Gabriel back. Sam hands me my other son and I smile as I say, "I shall name you Michael Adam; Michael after my father and Adam after you." I say as I look back at Adam.

I hand Michael back to Sam and then fatigue quickly takes me. When I open my eyes I feel the ground start to shake and I look around to see Sam and Adam running toward me carrying my sons. "What's going on?" I ask as they near me. "I don't know?" Sam says as he wraps his arms around me and tries to protect me from debris. Adam hands me Michael and says, "I won't let anything happen to you guys." I lean up and quickly kiss his cheek and say, "Thank you Adam." I start to feel someone's hands on my shoulder and I look around and see nothing. Then Sam and I are lifted up and I am ripped away from Adam. As I am pulled away from him I hear my voice scream out his name.
